    Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great Family property

Resort was wonderful

Everything is close to the resort, ocean view was wonderful, we could enjoy a nice weather and pool was clean and available, just sucks we did not know the lazy river was down, I can recommend to call first to make sure the water activity are open. Parking is perfect close to the room, friendly service.

Great family rental

We loved this unit. Our large family had plenty of room to spread out. The full kitchen was great as we enjoy cooking. Location was perfect, right next to the parking lot and elevators. Pools were clean, beach access great. Quick walk to the boardwalk and strip area. Dvd rental in the lobby and pool towels available at the front desk. Will definitely rent this condo again.

The Loudest Hotel Room in the History of Mankind

Tons of cars driving by the front bedroom window. LOUD. Kitchen not stocked well at all. The balcony is right above a pool fountain. Again, LOUD. The hotel is fine, just stay on a higher floor you should be fine.

It could use some TLC

We enjoyed our stay at the camelot, I've been staying there since 2008. But the property could use some TLC. When we got in the room there was hardly no pots or pans. We had a couple small pots and a broiler pan. Its hard to cook when you don't have everything. The entire condo can use fresh paint and new mattresses. Overall we had a great stay! Just can use some remodeling.

The view and the pool were the biggest pluses to our stay! We did have to spend quite a bit extra in the kitchen, however. There was only one garbage bag for 5 days, the pots were dirty with dried on food under the cabinet and very basic quality (our food kept burning to the pan so we picked up some aluminum foil), no can opener/whisk/serving spoon or other accessories/appliances for the most basic meals. With room for 6 to stay there, only 4 towels were provided so we ended up doing a lot more laundry. There is also no vacuum for the carpets and our feet kept turning black from the floors so we had to wear shoes the whole week. Overall, we would likely stay again, but would be prepared with our own kitchen and bathroom items from home to save on cost.

Well first of all I will say that the room was clean and not really a bad room but the view was nothing great palm trees covered most of what should have been an ocean front view.Vacasa I feel screwed me over I booked a three bedroom top floor apartment in December,8 months before vacation already had it paid for and two months prior to time to go ,Vacasa called me and said that I couldn’t have that apartment but they would put us in a two bedroom 2nd floor apartment and they would pay the difference.there shouldn’t have been a difference I should have gotten money back.but anyway a couple that was going with us had to sleep on the pullout couch because vacasa messed up,we were downgraded we were crowded we had no view there was no service from the staff and no compensation was offered,I will NEVER use Vacasa again!!!if they did it to me they can do it to you

Great location, mediocre property

Check-in time was at 4pm, which I thought was an extremely late check-in as it was. Then they told us our room had not been cleaned yet and they would let us know when it’s ready. We couldn’t get in the room until 5:30! The Vacasa staff was nice about it and explained that they just can’t get enough maids hired and it’s a problem throughout Myrtle Beach. The room was not as clean as I would’ve liked. The bottoms of our feet were black from walking on the floors. Tub inserts and sinks were newer and clean but walls and floors (especially corners) were not. Kitchen was standard. Freezer made tons of ice but refrigerator dropped a little condensation (on inside). AC worked great! It was really nice and convenient to have a washer and dryer in the unit (there is coin-operated laundry on site for units that don’t have a washer/dryer in them). Pools were smaller than I expected but my kids loved them. The listing said there are pool towels but you have to check them out from the front desk and use the same towel for your entire stay. I’m glad we brought our own. We did get a good price on this property so I’ll just say you get what you pay for. I would stay somewhere nicer next time.

Review of our visit

Loved the ocean front view. Loved the convenient parking. Water pressure was excellent. Hot water was plentiful. However the room was very dusty. The carpet desperately needs replacing. The appliances need updated as age and exposure to the elements have taken their toll. The tile was loose in the bathroom. The door for the washer was busted. Whole resort needs to be renovated. A fresh coat of paint would help .

I needed a room with two bedrooms. The room we got a Camelot by the Sea was great. It was modern, clean, and well equipped. Nothing to complain about. Would definitely stay there again.

Do Not Recommend

Booked this unit for 5 days, we arrived a day early and checked into another unit that was very rundown and dirty. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, they got us Into our unit the next day by 10:30am. This unit was equally as disgusting. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and the floors were unacceptably filth. I went to the store and bought cleaning supplies and roach spray. I cleaned and disinfected everything so I could comfortably sleep at night. I’m not sure if the room was supposed to be checked daily for towels and bedding but no one ever came to our unit so I just washed everything myself with the washer and dryer that was in unit. One of the queen beds was very comfortable but the other had a sunken spot in it. The layout of the unit is very nice. The proximity to the pools and beach is also great but it’s hard to get past the filth and roaches. This is the first time I’ve ever left a rental cleaner than when we arrived .

Generally liked the condo layout. Somewhat dated but only real complaint is that the carpet is nasty. Wouldn't walk w/out shoes. Replacing it w/ flooring would go a long way! Location in bldg very good. Complex trying very hard to keep up w/ cleaning/maintenance. Lots of staff, which is unusual these days. Easy check in/check out. Within walking distance of a lot!
