We had a wonderful stay at this condo! It was very roomy, yet still had a cozy and comfortable feel that made it easy to relax. The highlight was definitely the view—it was absolutely amazing and made the whole experience even more special. Everything was clean and well-kept, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

Family vacation

Beautiful place with a beautiful view. Listed both the pros and cons. I would definitely stay here again. We came with our 18 and 22 year old boys and we had so much fun. I loved sitting on the balcony every morning to drink my coffee and listen to the waves. Sitting on the beach to watch the sunrise was absolutely beautiful Pros:1- beach view amazing with nice balcony, tables and chairs2- Easy to find and naviagte to 3- home was verry clean and beds very comfortable 4- has washer and dryer so you can pack lighter5- closet with beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels6- Great communication with the company! Pam was so kind and answered all my questions. Email responses very prompt.Cons:1- very long walk to get to the boardwalk. Need to drive to most attractions. 2- the starter items were really sparse. No shampoo, 1/2 roll toilet paper in the one bathroom, tiny amt of dish soap. We left more than what we started with. 3- pool was under construction so quite a mess to get around to get to beach. It will be beautiful when its done. This was communicated to me prior to the trip4- parking garage very tight to maneuver around

Great place bad weather

The place was great the beach was great everything was nice and clean well stocked unfortunately the week we came there was a hurricane so we were stuck inside 4 days but we will have better luck year

◇Everything we needed and more◇

Everything was exactly as we expected from the advertisement. We were close to literally everything and the beach was mere steps away. The hotel pool and lazy river were hits with the kids and we loved our evening walks on the beach. Recommend 10 out of 10.

Great condo

Very nice well maintained condo, unfortunetly when we arrived we knew the offices would be closed. The property manager had kindly mailed me the key which was great. We arrived approx 3 hours prior to check in but couldn’t get in which we knew could possibly happen no big deal. At 4 pm when we tried to get into to our place the keys were not working. Tried to get ahold of property managers but they were closed for the holidays. After an hour or so the maintenance guy was able to try and trace our key for us but we were unable to have everyone leave as we would get locked out until we got the keys re done to allow access inside. All 4 keys didn’t work. We finally did get the maintenance guy to make all the keys work. When I called the next day and the office was open they didn’t seem to care that we were inconvienced at all with this and just said oh well Overall the place was very nice. The parking garage is pretty tight so be careful when driving.

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our stay here at Myrtle beach! The unit was very clean and decorated beautifully. The beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Would definitely stay here again and we had a great time with family.

Would recommend

Condo was even better than the pictures. Very clean and even offered beach items (chairs, umbrella, sand toys, etc.), which I hadn’t expected. The multiple pools were great, which helped with overcrowding. Only real issue was the parking garage is small and the spaces are very tight. Plus there are limited restaurants nearby, but not a huge issue as we mainly ate at the condo. Walmart was very close and easily accessible.

Where to start...the balcony of our property was fantastic. The ocean was amazing. The condo unit itself was clean and well decorated but was much smaller than it appeared in the pictures. The unit did have everything we needed-towels, bedding, kitchen items and beach items. However, the double beds wouldn't fit two kids and definitely not two adults. There were cockroaches in the stairwells and a smell of pot everywhere. The game room was dirty and not much of a game room . The location was awful. There was nothing to walk to. IDK why the property says walk to Boardwalk. When we did go out for a walk my family and I did not feel safe. The only other people out were shady...druggies or homeless. Our vacation started by being told our keys wouldn't work and we had to be at the property before 4pm to get new ones, or we would be charged $25 dollars. Note check in is at 4! Further...there was a parking pass missing from the room. We were told it would be dropped off around 6pm but it never came. I called the emergency line for Carolina Resorts at least 5 times over the course of 4 hours. EACH TIME I WAS PROMISED A CALL BACK BUT NO ONE EVER CALLED. Finally,I emailed someone from Carolina Resorts, who was very nice, and she called me and said the pass would arrive soon. It finally was delivered after 11 pm. We had three young kids. The worst part was that the pool water ruined my kids hair, gave the kids rashes, and completely ruined my brand new bathing suit.

Spacious Oceanfront suite

The property is as described and was very spacious. We had some issues getting into the room, as the room key that was sent did not open the door. It was very frustrating after a long drive but the after hours number got me in contact with the property manager. The property manager told us to go to the front desk and the front desk begrudgingly sent maintenance to open the door after telling us this was not okay. Thankfully the keys inside the unit worked so we had no more issues with the door. The unit could have been cleaner as we found a crab claw under the chair, a snickers wrapper in the bed sheets and hair left on the edge of the tub. Overall with some easy fixes this could be a great rental experience. The unit and the hotel amenities were was well represented in the photos.

Excellent location and clean

Had a great time as a snowbird staying at this condo. Clean and indoor parking with indoor heated pools. Highly recommend this condo...just talk to Pam :) fantastic managers.

Great vacation spot!

This is our second time staying at the Grand Atlantic, first time in this unit. The unit was beautifully decorated (recently remodeled?) and fully equipped. My favorite feature of this property is the large balcony that directly overlooks the ocean, and the fact that the sand is just steps away from the pools. We also love Scooby's (a small shop that has anything and everything you could want -- ice cream, snack bar type food for quick lunch/dinner, mixed drinks served in a fishbowl!). Miniature golf, grocery store and souvenir shops were a short walk away, plus the Tanger Outlets, water park and go-karts were a 15-minute drive. We are already trying to plan our next vacation, because the Grand Atlantic has obviously become a tradition!!
