The overall stay was great. The property and room was clean, great location, excellent breakfast and walking distance to everything. The grandkids enjoyed themselves.

Great Condo!

The condo is wonderful and the amenities are better than any other place I have ever stayed. The only issue we had was the fact that the beds were extremely uncomfortable.

Superb!

The location. The readiness to supply the rooms we desire. The rates are great. We plan to stay the 4th year in a row next year. We truly enjoyed every minute. All the appliances tip top. The showers and plumbing great. No problems. I love The Carolinian and speak for my family as well. Thank you so much for being a part of precious memories.

great apartment

Great location and view. Comfortable 2 bedrooms and 2 baths for 4 people. Missing certain things from apartment. Don't rent with Vacasa - very difficult to deal with and only interested in getting your money. Listen to the other reviews, they warned us and it is true.

Great location and place to stay

Overall this hotel/condo was really nice! The condo was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. Easy access to the beach. The parking was included and close by; breakfast was great, a nice buffet just a short walk from the hotel. There were a couple things that weren’t great…the internet to the TV went out on our 2nd day and was never fixed. The TV still worked we only had access to the channels provided by the hotel (no Netflix). The front desk said we had to bring dirty towels down to exchange for clean ones, but when we did they told us we were supposed to wash them since there was a washer/dryer in the condo. We were also told the first toilet paper and paper towel were complementary and that we needed to buy any additional we needed for our week stay. Other than these few things we really enjoyed our stay and if we return to Myrtle Beach would probably stay here again!

Outdated and disappointing

I wouldn’t stay here again. I don’t normally write a review but besides being able to accommodate 10 people, everything was really bad. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, we sunk into the middle. The pillows were very old and the AC only worked in one room. Overall the decor was atleast 20+ years old and it smelt dingy. As for being a resort there was really nothing a resort should have. No restaurant, bar or every breakfast. They gave you vouchers to go across the street but the lines were hours long so you couldn’t even get in. The resort wasn’t near any attractions which would be fine if they had any time of convenience stores around. It felt like a really cheap motel with a view.

We have stayed at the Carolinian several times over the course of five years. This was the most disappointing experience that we have ever had at this resort. While there is an amazing oceanfront view and an updated hallway bathroom, the remainder of the condo is massively outdated. The kitchen fridge and stove are full of rust but functional. The living room furniture is outdated, very worn, and dingy. There are even stains on the lamps and carpet. We covered the sofa with a white sheet so that we could sit down and try to relax. We tried Lysol only first, but it was simply not enough. The front bedroom sheets had stains, and a stained lamp and the carpet overall was in poor condition. The beds were not very comfortable and the employee who made our reservation booked us for two single beds instead of one king. The bathroom tub had visible mold and mildew all around it and pieces of the popcorn ceiling were falling throughout the condo. The condo was also overall dusty and not clean. When we vacation, we like to stay somewhere that looks as nice as our home or better, this was a disappointment. We have had other condos that we rented at this location and this unit put a damper on our vacation.

I loved it

Waking up every morning to the sound of the waves priceless. The free breakfast at the magnolias just my little exercise every morning just to get there and see the staff there and enjoy every bite of that meal. The room so spacious the beds so neat once we got there and the best of all being able to wash our clothes in the washer machine and dryer. I loved my stay here. Just minor hiccups it’s a no smoking hotel period but some people in balconies smoking marihuana. But other than that it’s beautiful

Very Disappointed....

entire facility needs updating. our unit, 1132, is a great location with great square footage. we didn't run the dishwasher because the racks are severely rusted OR the heating element has burned the coating off the racks. The dryer filter was so full that I changed it. also, the timed drying didn't disengage - it ran way too long. If all units in the Carolinian are kept like this one, an unintended fire is possible. the mattresses in both bedrooms were marginal. there were small holes in the drapes in the master. we were there three nights and NO trash liners were provided nor was there a place for us to dispose of our trash. There are three elevators - the middle elevator has something loose, when you press your floor number the entire panel recedes.

Our Stay at the Carolinian

Absolutely loved our week long stay at the Carolinian at Myrtle Beach! It was a great beach vibe, clean, well supplied, & the staff was super friendly! The amenities, including water parks & breakfast buffet, that were included with our condo rental, made our trip so easy & fun! Well worth the the (excellent!) price! We will be back again next year!

Awesome "A All American Resort"

A home away from home atomshere, with all you need in a home from area space to large dining and awesome kitchen....freshness and very clean!!! I told everyone about my stay....I would love to come again next weekend if any rooms available and invite a host of friends to come see such a room 1132 A president choice!!!!! I love it You guys keep me inform when rooms are available....

Carolinian Beach Resort 1132

The room is beautiful and we had plenty of space! Everything we needed was there and in working order. The only reason I could not give a 5 star rating was because parking was an issue! They only have room for 1 handicap ♿ parking on the premises, but they informed us that we could park on the lot beside the resort as long as we had a placard, but the lot was always packed. Very frustrating! But everything else was lovely!!!!
