2 STARS (because the view was fabulous) I was in 1803 ATLANTICA and it was beyond filthy, literally a biohazard. I first noticed that the bedroom light didn't work. The knob was missing, and it was bare metal to the connection. (Shock hazard). No bedroom light for my entire stay. I turned on the kitchen light and the roaches went scurrying. Roaches were coming out of the walls. I notified the rental office, and they sent a bug guy right out. The bug guy said he needed me to help pull out the stove and refrigerator. We did and it was a literal dump (trash & dissolved food) Bug guy pointed to the access point and sprayed a ton of poison. Then he layered the floor with the poison until there were puddles of liquid poison. I asked if it was safe, and he said I should probably wait outside. My lungs burned for two days. The floor in kitchen area remained sticky for the whole 3 1/2 weeks. Bug guy's poison treatment lasted 3 days and then the roaches were back. I went to the store and bought my own poison. It only lasted about the same amount of time. Paint was peeling off the walls. Carpet had large thick sticky stains. Top of Stove was filthy, and roaches would crawl out of the aluminum under the burners. Refrigerator kept tripping the GPR in the breaker box and you'd find your drinks and food warm inside the fridge. On two occasion I found a roach inside the fridge. Unreal! Between the top of the fridge and cabinet cobwebs abounded. Sink faucet in bathroom was loose and connected to plastic plumbing. If it's not secured it will break and leak to floors below. Furniture was extremely uncomfortable. The place was so bad, except for the view, it was almost laughable. People at Coastal Beach Rentals were friendly, but you had to ask or pull their name out of them. They would either mumble their name or they wouldn't identify themselves until you asked. They said all calls were recorded so maybe no one wants to get in trouble? Dunno? Parking is a block away not right across the street like I was told. Receptionist at the south building said i could get towed if I parked where I was told to park. I found this out on the next to last day of my stay. Elevator sounded like it was on its last leg and was not signed off on by an inspector. TV remote didn't work properly. I was trying to stay right up until check out but couldn't make it. On the next to last night, I was laying on my side and I felt a bug crawling up my back. The straw that broke the camel's back. It's a shame because for about 3 or 4 thousand dollars overhaul this place could be really nice. I didn't ask for any type of refund because the rate was extremely reasonable, and the view was perfect.
