Imagine walking up to a property, with perfect pictures posted online, to see old furnaces tossed on the side of the entrance. Continue on to the entrance to find garbage laying around and overall dirty first impression. Head onto the elevator that looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since the opening of the building many, many years ago. The hallway leading to the condo was clean and upkept but the stick from the trash container parked in the middle of the hallway made you hurry to the condo door. Entering the condo you are slapped with the smell of something rotting. The floors were dirty, the carpet was in horrible shape with holes and areas where the carpet was coming apart. The counters and table were sticky and dirty to the touch. The master bath had mold on the walls and the shower curtain. The views were great but everything else about this property lacked in every way! I would definitely not stay here again!

Lies lies lies

Buyer beware!! This is the WORST short term rental we have ever seen and we use them frequently. Every email we received threatens extra charges for wall scuffs, towel or linen stains and all kinds of petty things yet the place has damage throughout. Major damage to walls. Rotting trim around the walls and looks chewed up. Shower curtains were all moldy and the place just looks like it hasn’t seen a paint brush or maintenance man in decades. The unit next to ours had a water leak and we had maintenance in our unit for THREE DAYS! They were also banging and drilling and making major noise all day long. The dishes in our cabinets sounded like they were breaking! Very basic amenities were also extremely lacking. We had a 3 bedroom unit for 8 people on the reservation and they gave us ONE roll of paper towels and ONE trash bag for our 7 day stay! Also zero conditioner and ONE travel size bottle of shampoo per bathroom. Zero detergent/pods for the washing machine yet if we needed fresh towels, we had to pay a charge. Again for a 7 day stay!! They also had a strict rule about taking towels to the beach so we had to go buy 8 more towels! The bedding was also subpar. They provided ONE pillow per person and the “blanket” was more like a sheet. We froze! And yes we tried to turn the AC up but it had an override to cool lower than programmed if the humidity was elevated. Absolutely miserable experience!! And of course the property manager is unresponsive to our request for a refund.

This is our second time staying at this location. First time for this condo. The unit needs a good cleaning and furniture/flooring is pretty worn. Need additional silverware for a large group. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

It was a great place. But the couch had Cheetos in it from the last guess. The floor we had to vacuum because of dirt and lent . Beautiful view. Would love to stay there again.

Condo was great!

The Condo was great. It was showing its age and could use some TLC, but all and all it is what was expected. Location was good and walking distance to most anything you want. The view was amazing from the two balconies. Beds comfortable and it was quiet. With that said, the common areas were not great. Hot tubs were dirty, one not working and none filled with enough water to full submerge the jets. 2 of the 3 elevators were down all day. Long line both up and down. One day they just shut off the water. No notice. Entry to pool locked all day for no reason. No pool towels yet they say it is a resort. That was frustrating and out of control for the condo owner.

The management team needs to do a better job of keeping the pool clean it was very cloudy, the large trash receptacle in the hallway by the elevator needs to be placed somewhere else is not a good impression of the facility as you get out of the elevator.

Great, spacious property in ideal location.

Spent a wonderful spring break in Myrtle Beach at this amazing property with my family. My kids each had their own room with their own bathroom, The living spaces were perfect.The views of the beach are unmatched. Excellent location, easy check-in, very attentive host. Highly recommend!

If you don’t mind filth and smoke, this place is for you.

Overall, the facility pools were nice, location great and parking ideal. Our unit, however, was a different story. Every single cupboard (kitchen and all baths) are hanging on by a thread and look filthy. There is a non-smoking policy at the place but every single day we had to close our doors from the ocean view because of people smoking on balconies around us. When contacting the place we rented from, their response was lacking. We changed out the main garbage bag after a couple of days, only to find vomit in the bottom of the bucket. It was just our family of four and no one was sick during our stay. If you rent here, bring cleaning supplies. I would not return under the guise of this rental company but would consider a privately owned condo in the same building.

Quick Trip

This place was fine for the quick weekend that we were there for sports. It is not somewhere I would stay for a long period of time. The beds are very worn and the one blanket on each bed is about the thickness of a sheet. They have hotel towels, so bring extra if you want to be able to dry off. The walls were very dusty, the dishes in the cabinet were dirty! Oh and it says up to 10 people can stay here, but there is only plates for 6. So you have to eat in shifts. The place was clean, but old, so it felt dirty. It is on the beach and the balcony's were nice. In regards to the actual building - the pool was dirty, the hot tub was half full, and parking is okay. I would hate to see the unloading/loading and parking during the summer! Oh and even though they say there are ice machines, they are not working.

Great Escape

I took my staff and I to Myrtle Beach for an Early Childcare Conference. Check-in until Check-out was a breeze. The condo was in excellent condition. Cleanliness and Location was Amazing. Parking was very convenient and the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. Julie, our host was attentive to any questions or concerns. She made us feel very welcomed. This condo will be my 1st choice always when visiting Myrtle Beach whether it’s for business or pleasure.

Great Time!

The room was just right for our number of people. Very spacious 3-bedroom condo. Very clean. Julie and team are very responsive. The actual Hotel itself (Oceans One) did not have many amenities besides the basics. No restaurant or bars. There is a McAdoo's Bar one motel down that we frequented. And the Wicked Tuna on the 2nd Ave. pier is in walking distance. Quite pricey but very tasty. Big Fish Rentals treated us well. I would use them again.
