Great vacation again!

Another great beach week

We have stayed at Dune Our Thing twice now and really enjoy the home and had a great week. The hospitality is wonderful and much appreciated. The home easily accommodated our family. The porch and the pool were enjoyed by all. We would stay there again.

Great vacation rental

We had a great stay at this wonderful vacation rental! Very clean and spacious! Our granddaughters had a great time in the pool and the beach was so close! The screened porch off of the pool area is a wonderful addition and great for meals or getting some shade while by the pool. The kitchen is well equipped and the furniture is comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Annual Trip to Surfside Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All in all it was a great trip! We had some issues with the homes AC for 2 days, but when contacting Patrick the property manager he had various agencies onsite and made repairs to the system and immediately made us whole for the inconvenience. Hew is a class act, and was an amazing person to deal with! The home was close to the beach, clean, and a great outdoor area with a pool!!

Loved every minute!

The house was fantastic! Very clean and well kept. The lanai was used every day as well as the pool. Everything was perfect. We would definitely stay again. Thank you so much!

Forever Friends 60th Birthday Trip

What a beautiful home! Nicely decorated and stocked with a lot of kitchen items. The pool and location were exactly what we wanted. We had plenty of room to hang out and also the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and decks were the best. Thank you for providing us the perfect place for our week. We will return.

Perfect Beach Getaway

Dune our Thing was a perfect location for our family vacation. The house was very spacious and was able to accommodate 13 people without feeling crowded. We had a small issue with the pool but the owner and property manager responded promptly and were very professional. The house is in the perfect location with just a few houses away from the beach. I highly recommend staying here!

Great Vacation

House was wonderful. Everything we expected, well stocked with essentials. Great "gift" of Shari's Berries delivered mid stay, sweet treats for all. Only negative was grill was not clean or usable due to excessive grease build-up. Definitely would re-vacation there. Excellent location and EASY access to clean beach.

The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach with easy access, and nestled in a quiet, friendly neighborhood.Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have been happier and would absolutely return!

We love this place!

This is our second time staying at Dune Our Thing and it has won our family’s hearts! It’s roomy and comfortable. The sun porch is so nice in the morning. Having access to both the beach and pool is our favorite part. It’s a short drive to great restaurants and an easy walk down to the beach, even for our 77 year old mom. The gift of the chocolate covered strawberries is such a lovely and thoughtful touch.

Family Celebration

We had a wonderful time staying in this home. It is beautiful and had everything we needed for a family vacation. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach and everyone enjoyed themselves. There was only one minor hiccup, the grill had an empty tank of gas. Of course we realized it when we went to use it, so ran to the gas station for a new tank. Other than that we had a fabulous time and the house was perfect!

Relaxing at its best!

My family, of 5, had a great time relaxing at this beach house before school starts. House was very nice and clean. It is well taken care of. Has everything you need and more. Only negative for us was the Main ac unit is located in enclosed/screened patio by the pool. There was water under it so we had to block it from our walking 13 month old. Not a big deal after we blocked it. The screened in patio poolside was perfect for securing safety of our toddler while our 2 oldest kids swam in the pool. We were able to relax on the patio and watch them swim.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation was fabulous. The house is beautiful and well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean and easily accessible. Appliances all were functioning. There was plenty of space for our group of 9.Though the location of the house was exactly as described and a very short walk to the beach, it was too far for our family. we like to be able to see and hear the ocean waves crashing. The fence, while it is necessary, created a very hot backyard/pool area and we were not able to use it much. The air was just too stagnant and oppressive. We spent more time at the beach than we have in 25 years of visiting the area. This turned out to be very nice for us, but was a little disappointing when we wanted out of the sand.The enclosed balcony, even with the windows open, didn't provide much air flow and it was often too hot for comfortable sitting in the afternoon and early evening.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: June 1-8 stay with 12 close friends and their children. We all loved this beach house for our friends vacation! Everything was very clean and easily manageable. It was the perfect size for all of us with 6 bedrooms for 6 couples and children. The pool was perfect for those mid day naps for the kids so the parents could still get some sunshine while also relaxing while the children were asleep. Would highly recommend this place to any group of people vacationing!Only have 1 complaint and it’s not even that big of a deal to most of us but I’m sure others would disagree. Running multiple showers at once causes the hot water to run out very quickly so if you aren’t one of the first people to shower you have limited hot water. Again not a big deal for our group as it was very hot the whole week we were there so it was kind of refreshing. Other than that we would definitely come back if we plan on vacationing in Myrtle beach again soon!

Dune your thing review

The house was beautiful and very roomy for our party of 9. We had a great time. Some things to note though. There is no bathroom by the pool area. Not sure if that is standard but our last bnb had one which helped so our elderly parents didn’t have to walk up the stairs each time. The pool was not clear, more of a greenish haze and the pool light didn’t work. We couldn’t find any lights around the pool so it was hard to use after sunset. There is a really cool enclosed area near the pool with a pool table but the air conditioning unit is right there and is pretty loud, making it hard to talk. The door knobs kept falling off on the front door and the middle bedroom so we ran to Walmart for a screwdriver and my husband fixed them. The upstairs end bedroom(not the master) has a closet but there’s a code on it which we weren’t given so I didn’t have any place to hang my clothes. The front porch is great for watching the world go by but it is enclosed so it’s extremely hot! Even after removing or opening the windows and using the fans, we were unable to sit out there for long. There are also cameras in the pool area which was unnerving. Not sure if they’re on while guests are there? Or where else they may be. There was a weird ‘motion detector’ type device in the living room which we wondered about. The driveway is only big enough for two SUVs and they need to be parked behind each other which was a pain when family members had to get out in the morning.

Great Family Stay

This property was amazing and exceeded our expectations from the description. Each room was very spacious and clean. It easily was enough room for our family of 7 and could have easily accommodated more. The location of the house was perfect - very short walk to the beach, short car ride for shopping and all other attractions. This was a perfect vacation to end the summer and have our family together.
