Wonderful well appointed beach house. The owner was very happy to point out places to visit, and places to eat. A special thank you to Santa, who made an impression on our 3 yr old grandson. The owners were also able to accommodate us when we decided to stay an extra day. Thank you for a great vacation

Oceanside Village is a gated community . It is a peaceful, family friendly place. The pools, hot tub, and kids water play area were a hit with my family. Within walking distance to the beach. Our host Salty Santa is a wealth of knowledge on restaurants. We had a fantastic time. Definitely would stay here again.

when we arrived on wed. afternoon there was no toilet paper and the toilet in hall bath wouldn't flush. we notified owners and he came down to fix it. It still didn't flush. We dealt with that till Fri. afternoon & he brought tools & fixed it. There were no extra garbage bags. There were no extra blankets, the bath mats in hall bath were dirty. We only had one shower for everyone to take a bath. There was a deep jachusi. we were told there was a golf cart on site we could use to go to beach, never saw it I would never stay here again.

Check-in was just as described in the procedures and the hosts were very responsive when we had questions. Our little pup was just learning the ropes and the hosts were so gracious. I know she would bark or whine early in the morning when she needed out and I apologize whenever I happened to see them around the property. The owner insisted she did not disturb them. The kitchen was so well stocked I was able to host family for dinner (steaks on the huge gas grill) our first night! Everything was clean and neat and I was careful to keep a good eye on our 14-week old Standard Poodle. There was plenty to do with and without the puppy (she happily napped in her crate while we walked to a nearby mini golf course. The master bedroom bathroom had a jetted tub but no shower - no worries, the second bathroom had a tub/shower combo. I can’t describe the wonderful water pressure the unit had! It was amazing!! The master bed was so comfy and the room was dark and the perfect temperature for lazy mornings after a great nights sleep. I did pack a thin blanket for sitting around late at night watching TV as the leather furniture was a bit chilly for me - my hubby had no issues with the cool nights. I didn’t find extra blankets in any of the bedrooms so if that is something you may need, pack accordingly. I highly recommend this beach & golf cart community home. It exceeded our expectations for such a reasonably priced stay! Enjoy!

Salty Santas house

Hands down best place to stay.Garden city /Surfside beach Private gated community, everyone is so nice. It's located.In the middle of just about everything food, Groceries, entertainment, The Beach And just about everything else you can think of. The owners are so cool I mean, he's Santa, for Goodness sakes. What could be cooler Then staying with Santa Claus, They are extremely cool owners Their on site At all times Barely even noticed they're home most times But they are If you need them And they will help you anyway, that they can. I love this place and I will definitely renting from them Again. Lol I even got to be one of Santa's helpers for a sweet little boy who was visitingHis grandpa i love it... So if You're looking For a great place to stay in Garden city/Surfside beach Look no further than this place.Thank you So much for all your Hospitality Mr an Miss Salty Santa.

Oceanside Village Stay

We booked our trip for a last-minute Birthday/Fishing Trip. The owners were very quick to respond with questions i had about the area such as fishing spots. This is a gated community right across from the beach. Great access to everything you need. They had 3 pools, 1 indoor 2 outside a splashpad for the kids and a big hot tub. The owners are great and super nice!

Fun place to stay

Despite a tropical storm, we made the most of our trip. The amenities helped keep the kids entertained. The hosts were available when needed and the space fit our family of 5 and our dog very well.

We have now stayed at this property twice in the last few years (5 years in a row at Oceanside Villlage). Clean, easy to access and comfortable for all. Love that our dogs were allowed and there’s a pretty private little side yard for them. Close to pool and dog park. Something to note - master bathroom only has a tub, no shower. So there is only one shower in the unit. Owners are great and helpful with pointing you towards nice local spots! Thank you Neil and Stephanie!

Property was not overly clean. When we arrived the floor appeared to be unswept. Most disappointing was the outside patio. Patio and furniture were very dirty. Bar top was broken and bikes were laying in a pile in the yard. More information upon checkin would have been helpful. The $30 gate pass should be included in the rental fee. Overall we had a great time.

Great Location

Our stay was excellent! The hosts were very responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything. They allowed us to have a late check out with no extra charge due to holiday traffic. The location and the convenience of the golf cart was amazing. 3 beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach towels were all provided. I only subtracted one star simply because the place could use a few updates and I felt as if the floor had some sand on it when we arrived, as if it had not been mopped. Otherwise, awesome place for a few friends or a small family.

Nice and Peaceful

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely rent again with our kids if the house is available. The house was very nice and clean, had everything needed for cooking and/or grilling. Stuff you could use for the beach and/or pool, and we loved the golf cart usage.

We had a wonderful stay…..the owners were helpful with anything we needed and so nice and friendly….the house is very convenient to the beach especially with the golf cart….we couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family….would love to stay again.

Welcoming and felt right at home

The house was beautiful and very inviting. We had everything we needed from kitchen appliances to a grill and bikes to ride around. We also had a golf cart that made for easy access around the village and to the beach. Neil made us feel at home and was there if we needed anything. We definitely recommend staying here!
