It was nice but...

I don't have any real complaints about the hotel. The staff was nice and the room was clean. But a map to get to navigate would be nice 😂😂 I easily got lost the first few times from my room

Good location

Needed a place close to where we were playing baseball and this was perfect. Beach access and amenities were great.

Our stay

The room didn’t look like the picture, I mean you can tell they were the same room but boy did t they edit the pictures to look nice. The ac unit wasn’t working right so we had to have somebody come in there on the first night to fix that. The tub looked so gross, like I almost felt like I needed flip flops. I wasn’t told about the Security deposit at all until I got there to check in, which it’s been close to two weeks since I’ve been back from my trip and I have yet to even receive it back. I know we did not mess up that room so I know I should get my money back, will be making that call. The beach was gross, trash everywhere, I know that isn’t the properties for but if they want more people visiting, they really should put someone in charge of helping clean the beach. I know people shouldn’t be disrespectful and leave their trash but to help the property look better, someone definitely should be in charge of cleaning.

This property is on the beach,but nor well kept and smelled of smoke and Marijuana.

The location was good,but the room smelled musty,Also the floors were wet and the tv didnt work well. Check in took forever, and there were never any carts to take up or down luggage. We were in a truck and the parking garage was very difficult to park in. We will definitely not return.

The location of the hotel is convenient & close to all the family- fun spots! However, the hotel itself is older & could really use some updating. Rooms could be updated & cleaner. Hotel amenities were nice. Overall we don’t have many complaints.

Great Weekend Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. We weren’t expecting anything big from it, we just needed a room. Room was clean, staff was friendly. We enjoyed all the water features and being close to the ocean. The nights were a little rowdy, but we went on an expected busy weekend. Some of the pools and spas were closed which was a little disappointing. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and had a great visit to the Grand Strand!

Surprised by the large deposit required during check in. Paid all expenses on VRBO but the hotel required large deposit to check in and when you leave they send someone to double check the room and then you get the deposit back. Wasn’t upset, just wish that was listed on here. Staff was friendly and courteous. However, the room did not have an ocean view. The title states “oceanfront”, which is true, the hotel is located on the beach. The title should state “interior room” on the listing. I called VBRO prior to booking but they were not able to confirm weather or not it was with a view of the ocean. This room overlooks the roof of the pool and ball room. Beds were great, and room was clean. Kids loved the pools, hot tubs, and lazy river. Hotel is on the ocean(just no view from the room) and pools are by ocean. Requested a pack n play from the lobby but it never came. I Was told there were only five for the entire hotel and they would send one up (again, the staff was kind). The phone in the room wouldn’t allow the person on the other end to hear. I let the front desk know our phone wasn’t working so I wouldn’t be able to call down to check on the status. (Was hoping they would at least send someone to let us know they didn’t have one or what happened) Not sure if they forgot or didn’t have one and where the phone wouldn’t work I’m not sure if the lobby even tried to call to say why but we were all too tired to inquire and the toddler fell asleep anyway so we let it go. The drink machines were out of water on five different floors but that’s not the room owners problem. All in all we had a good time and felt safe in this hotel and got the large deposit back at check out. This room was not bad, but it would have been nice to know it is an interior room with no view of the ocean and that there’s a large deposit that you won’t get back till you leave.
