Yes, our room overlooked the beach. When we walked in the room there was a very strong odor. I am pretty sure that it was pet urine. The couch cushions smelled very strong. We bought air freshener, but it didn't help. The cushions really need to be steamed cleaned, or the sofa needs to replaced. The rooms that are pet friendly really need to be checked after people who had pets stayed there. I had my 87 yr old mother with me and she had a hard time with the smell.

The kitchen sink was in terrible condition. The unit lacked sufficient cleaning. Toothpaste spittle was present on the bathroom sink faucet. The walls look like there is coat after coat of paint. We were very dissatisfied.

This suite was excellent—our second stay in the same unit, and once again, it did not disappoint. It was spotless, modern, and exactly as described, with photos that accurately reflect the space. The view overlooking both the pool and the beach was fantastic.While certain parts of Myrtle Beach may not feel as charming or safe as they once did—especially after dark—the Patricia Grand continues to be a standout. The property is well maintained, and the cleaning staff is consistently present, working hard to ensure guest satisfaction and keeping all common areas spotless and inviting.

We had a good stay at this Myrtle Beach condo. It worked well for our family—our 4.5-year-old and our 5-month-old puppy—and we appreciated that other guests were in similar situations, which made the environment relaxed and manageable. The balcony overlooking the pool was a nice spot to sit and people-watch, though in August the building blocks the sunrise, which might differ in other seasons. Something to note if you’re hoping to enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise. The pool, hot tubs, and lazy river were a humongous hit with our kiddo—he could have spent the whole trip there!The condo met our basic needs, and the kitchen had the essentials for meal prep. We appreciated the thoughtful snack caddy, though the items were over a year past their expiration date, and coffee filters weren’t stocked at check-in, which was inconvenient for our first morning. The property management did make sure we had some by the end of the day, which we appreciated.The furniture was generally clean and acceptable for a pet-friendly space, but the walls could use some patching and a fresh coat of paint, the light fixtures needed dusting, and the replacement window treatments don’t fully cover the windows to block light.Overall, the condo is functional, but it could use some TLC to better reflect the listing and provide a more polished experience. For the price and our somewhat chaotic family, it worked, but we hope the owners put more care into maintaining the space.

The condo was very nice unfortunately the elevators were not working half the time and the parking lot across the way is by far too tight to fit bigger vehicles. I have driven a class A RV around America and this was scarier than that to park in. Stinks because the place is nice.

Our suite met all our expectations. It was clean, roomy, in good shape, had a great view and was easily accessible. The only negatives I might add would be the difficult use of the main door lock. The upkeep of the hallways, we saw plungers, trash and there were always strange smells and the malfunctioning elevators. A few were slow while on them, leading us to think there may be a malfunction.

Holiday

The stay was great with a wonderful view but there was just one downfall, it was Memorial Day weekend! I totally didn't realize it was a holiday that weekend. The traffic was wild on the strip. We made the mistake of leaving with our vehicle to go eat and it took like 1-2 hours to get back to our parking garage. Other than that everything was good thank you!

INACCURATE Listing/Uncompromising Host

Hurricane Debby was coming in when we were to arrive so Mery with host offered to reschedule but the next day it was refused and no refund to cancel. So we drove 12.5 hours, taking our chances. By the time we arrived a state of emergency had been issued. Still would not refund us. Upon entering the unit, the trim and floor transition strips were caked with debris and dirt, I refused to let my children walk on the floor without shoes. We spent 6 hours in there and found mold throughout the entire thing: on the ceilings, the weather strips of the doors, the old hairdryer, ALL of the curtains, the lampshades, the wood under the main AC unit was rotting and actually started leaking onto the floor while the cleaning lady they sent was there. There was old toilet paper on the floor along both bed frames as well as yellow splatter on the fabric of the bed bases, and dog hair still in the bedroom dresser from a previous visitor (we did not travel with pets). The cleaning lady acknowledged everything we reported, claimed it was a corporate level concern, called them and started speaking in a different language, moved to the hall to continue the call then disappeared without a word and we never heard back from anyone. Despite pictures/video proof they still refused responsibility/concern for the condition/health concerns of their unit. I said we couldn't stay, they agreed to let me cancel-no refund-but we would have to leave immediately. So we did!

Family Vacay

We had a great stay with my parents and 2 adults children and they brought their 2 small dogs. Very accommodating for dogs and great place to stay. Just maybe to small for 5 adults but we had a great time. Thank you and we will stay again!

Great Suite

The suite was great. It was clean and welcoming. Nice view of the pool and ocean. Beds were nice with plenty of linens and pillows to be comfortable. AC ran cold and the ice maker in the fridge was fantastic for keeping the cooler going. The resort was active and there was always someone cleaning something. Staff was friendly, and welcoming. We will definitely do it again.

Nice Cozy Stay!

This rental was perfect for me and kids. No need to stop at front desk upon check-in. All information will be giving for keyless entry. Parking is located across the street from the hotel. A complimentary parking pass is located in the condo upon arrival. The kitchen is fully stocked with the general cook/dish ware. There is a toaster, coffee pot, cutting board, plates, cups, silverware etc. The space was prefect. There is a pull-out couch in the living. There is also a wall bed that you pull down from the wall to use if needed. So, the living has two separate I believe its queen size beds. There is a bedroom with two queen beds which has a door that leads to the patio. The patio has a full ocean view that can be accessed from the living or bedroom. It loops around. Plenty of linen, beach and regular towels. There is also a long closet in the hallway for plenty of space that also has a safe. I love the fact that this condo is located on the 5th floor, so I have the option to take the stairs if needed. The owner was very responsive and ensured we had everything that we needed throughout our stay. We had an amazing time and will definitely be returning.

Perfect beachfront condo that allows pets

Perfect beachfront condo resort community safe for my 15 yr old to run around unchaperoned to enjoy. First time taking our fur baby and neighborhood around was safe for walking the dog.

Good place to stay if you want to bring your dog

The property was exactly as pictured and described. The furniture and floor were very clean, the beds were comfortable, great ocean view. Even see the sunrise without getting out of bed, just draw the curtains open! The only downside was we never received the check-in code, even after texting and calling a few times. Finally had to contact VRBO who was able to put me through to the property management contact--by then it was a half-hour past the normal check-in time. She was able to give me the code and allowed us to have an hour later for check out. However, we had to get on the road early so that didn't really help us. Once we finally got checked in, everything was fine. The resort seemed to be well-run and everyone working there was friendly. It's definitely one of the only places in Myrtle Beach where you can bring your dog and many people had dogs with them, but barking was almost never heard. Would stay here again if I want to bring my dog.

Get away

Great place if you have a dog. People staying there, very friendly. Check in was a breeze. Response from owner was quick. Wish there was a secure internet and tv channels would go in and out which was annoying. On one bed there were a few small stains on the sheets and a few strains of hair, which were not ours.
