The unit was completely as advertised and everything was in perfect. We loved the beach, the view, the pool, and hot tub. It’s close to everything!

Sheets and floors were sandy. Tub didn't drain until i cleaned out the hair that wasn't mine. I couldn't get into the place for an hour and i paid for early check in. The outlet for the coffee maker and toaster doesn't work. I would not stay in this unit again.

Beautiful view of sunrise/beach from your bed. Room was exactly as pictured. Perfect for me and pups. Building very dog friendly. Code to get in door promised to appear in email right at 4pm. Had to contact at 5:15pm to get the door code, was not emailed as promised. Could not find parking pass that was to be on the counter, got in after hours so front desk did give me temporary pass. Pass was hidden under silverware tray. Sheets do not fit bed, so constantly pulling fitted sheet up over mattress when it constantly slipped off. Just one person in the bed. Bring your own if they are not replacing. They talk a lot in all the communications back and forth about fines for stains on sheets, towels, to much trash etc etc. Sheets and towels are very well used, with stains. They are clean!! Just well used. I did take lots of pics when I first arrived as all the threats of fines where concerning. Julia very easy to communicate with responds quickly within the office hours.

Great location as far as the beach and walking distance to things. a kind of upset to see the bedspread hem ripped as soon as you walk in the door. I really do give grace for things but in thos case.... glass ware was put away with brown residue, the sheets were so wrinkled we were tired positive they hadnt been slept in. The worst part was killing a german cockroach at the sink in the kitchenette. Really left disappointed in the "freshly remodeled, honeymoon suite"

The studio was simply adorable! The view off the balcony is perfect for seeing the sunrise and you can also see the city. The best of both views! I really liked keypads to get in. No key to keep up with. It was in walking distance of shops and some places to eat. The beach is very nice with light brown sand and the walk there is incredibly easy! I rented an umbrella and chair for my stay. O loved being on the 12th floor as it was quiet and again, a great view. This is my first stay with Big Fish and I would recommend them!

Honeymoon Suite on Myrtle Beach!

I really enjoyed my vacation here at Ocean Park Resort on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach SC! I stayed in the Honeymoon Suite on the 12th floor! Even though my room/suite was small, it had everything I needed! Also, it was only me so I didn't need a big room/suite! The resort was right on the beach and my room had a beach and ocean view too! The resort haa an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs! Also, there are vending machines and washers/dryers for the guests to use! The location was perfect too because it was close to a lot of beach stores and restaurants! The staff that work at the Resort were very friendly, helpful and informative to me! I highly recommend this Honeymoon Suite to either a single person vacationing by him or her self or a couple that wants a romantic room on the beach! Also, the other rooms/suites at this Resort are very big and can accommodate families! The cost/price for 3 nights here is a really good price too and cheaper than some of the other hotels in the area! I plan on staying here again the next time that I come to Myrtle Beach either this year or next year! Sincerely, Todd Harlow

Adequate but Very Exhaustive Rules

Great location next to beach. Not too much entertainment within walking distance. Landlord's multiple rules were incessant with notices, warnings, and signs everywhere threatening to charge fines for thIngs not done right. Some really poorly designed locations for things like wall lamps that cant avoid being hit by cabinet doors.

Marriage reset

It was perfect for just the two of us! As we have 5 children life gets busy and very overwhelming so we needed this reset! It wasn’t crowed and it was quiet ! Relaxing by the hot tub was the best! As I clean houses for a living… the baseboards , and all the decor definitely needs dusted and wiped down, the doors need to be cleaned, the top of the shower is dirty and wasn’t cleaned as well! They want to say they will FINE you for staining their sheets and towels…. Well I took pictures because there was stains already on them…. So that makes no sense ?!? The TV isn’t a smart TV but has the options for it on the remote and half the remote worked.. no help from them there! Check in… They waited last minute to contact me for the rest of my info and we didn’t get to check in until 4:40p.m I drove through the night we got there at 7 a.m so yea I wasn’t too happy about continue to wait to check in after our check in time!!!!

Needs to be cleaned

Check-in was a bit annoying because a 3rd party (Big Fish Rentals) manages the property and emails come from their email address not through Vrbo. You are sent an email and asked to complete a list of things before you are able to check-in (which in my case went to spam so I was unaware until I reached out to them the day of check-in). The hotel is located by 3 older motels/hotels. In two days I witnessed multiple cops, ambulances, loud arguing matches in the street, and multiple people under the influence acting erratic. Just be aware of your surroundings. The room itself is what was listed but absolutely not clean. The sheets had bleach spots, there were smears across the bathroom ceiling, the window treatments look like they are from the 80’s and have holes and weathering, the comforter had dry crusty food on it, there were no paper towels, the bathroom floor mat was discolored with black mildew, the floors were dirty and hadn’t been mopped in quite some time. Just in general the entire place needs a good cleaning. I did send an email and attached pictures within the first 24hrs and got the response: “Thank you for letting us know. I will inform the team”. When I messaged the host upon returning home there was no response (even after over a week of waiting). Nothing was done (no one came to our room) and I was still charged for two nights “cleaning fees”.
