2/10 Terrible

Where do I begin? The initial code did not work, and I was locked out of the unit for nearly 45 minutes before someone was sent. The emergency contact number refused to answer the phone. Upon entering the unit, the real horror began. The walls were covered in dust, the floor was covered in dirt. The kitchenette was covered in grease and food particles. Upon moving a hot plate, I discovered a roach that scurried away. Some of the dishes were covered in greasy fingerprints requiring re-washing. Only the landlords did not provide any of the washing machine detergent. Therefore, there was nothing to wash the dirty dishes with. The bathroom had a used washcloth hanging over the shower rod, and the shower curtain was covered in red tinted serratia mold/bacteria. All should’ve been expected when I saw the bathroom mirror held together with electrical tape. The sheets in the bedroom had two spots I’ll pretend it’s not mold, but the bed frame appeared broken, likely from someone standing on the bedframe, coincidentally in an area that also appeared to have a giant vomit stain. Said vomit stain was likely difficult to remove because the bedframe was fabric covered. Essentially all of the cheap fiber board furniture was both broken and water damaged. Don’t be fooled by the pretty pictures. The reality is quite different than appearances online. And be expected to have no one to communicate with because the emergency contact phone number refused to answer the phone.
