The location and the beach were amazing and overall the stay was great. But a list of things that weren’t so great:
- The floors were constantly dirty, sandy, and sticky.
- First day there, my 3 year old opened his dresser drawers and the dresser fell on him. Upon inspection, I found that if you open the drawers, it’s top heavy and will fall over. Very dangerous for children.
- The wall vents were dripping water (at least I hope it was water) and we needed to lay down towels.
- Bathroom towel rack and toilet paper holder fell off (by the cleaning people) and was never repaired.
- One bathroom handheld shower didn’t work
- TV’s would freeze or simple not work.
- Day 4, we were out of towels and body soap. We asked 3 times for more. Finally, an angry man handed us a trash bag of towels, no soap. We didn’t get more soap until the next day
- Day 5, second bathroom toilet wouldn’t flush.
- Lastly, our cleaning lady Jackie was great. Very nice and pleasant. But a lot of the staff was unfriendly. They looked angry, were short with you, wouldn’t smile and some wouldn’t even return a nice “good morning”. I understand many of them were younger kids, but having a friendly staff that smiles, greets you, and seems happy to be there, really goes a long way for the experience of the guests.
