Great Beach View

We were in Myrtle Beach to watch our son's college play several spring training baseball games. They were staying on the beach, so we decided to look for a place on the beach. We were able to find The Patricia Grand, which was a couple of buildings away from where the team was staying. The price was very reasonable for 6 nights, the room was clean and the view is amazing. We were on the 6th floor. The room itself is a typical hotel room, but it also has a full sized refrigerator with ice maker, stove, microwave and some kitchen supplies. We would wake up, grab a cup of coffee and sit out on the balcony and watch the dolphins playing in the ocean. The free parking garage across the street is a little tight to maneuver around in, but is convenient and had plenty of parking. Beach was nice, hotel bar was nice with great service, they have plenty of pools and hot tubs. The area has everything you could possibly want to do, with the boardwalk a short 5 minute drive down the coast. Our only issue with the room we had was the bed and pillows. They were probably the worst we have ever slept on. I have no doubt that the property will take care of this issue, because other than that, you can not find a better deal for what this location has to offer!! Waking up and seeing nothing but beach and ocean from bed, made up for the fact that the bed was very uncomfortable!! We will more than likely be back to the Patricia Grand!

Most everything was great. When it rains a lot the ceiling leaks on the side of the bed closest to the balcony in room 622 Just thought you may want to know that Other Ethan that the stay was enjoyable

Great Getaway

This room had a great view of the ocean and a dog friendly environment!! It is a short drive to most of the major attractions as well!! Easy room access and check in and check out was a breeze!! Any messages we sent the property manager were answered promptly. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

The room needs flooring replaced scratches and worn out surfaces all over. Kitchen ceiling was bare drywall appeared as just being replaced but not completed. Bed and pillows very hard not comfortable at all.

Outside property was clean and nice. Room was a nightmare. Ceiling in kitchen was falling down on the stove , refrigerator, sink, and microwave. Could not use kitchen at all. Black mold was all over the refrigerator. Floor was nasty, not cleaned , heavily scratched everywhere. Bed looked like someone had been laying on it. We will never stay at this resort hotel ever again. Mr. & Mrs. Blakeney

Perfect suite for two people

From check-in to check-out, everything was a breeze. We were able to go directly to our suite when we arrived and skip the check-in line. The room was very clean, was exactly as described, and had a great view. This suite is located in the Patricia Grand resort, which also has a lot of great amenities. It is right off the south elevator on the sixth floor. When you get off the elevator on the main floor you’ll find Starbucks and access to the pool and beach. It’s in a great location within the resort. There is a large main pool, as well as several jacuzzis and a lazy river. You can walk straight through the pool area to the beach. We brought our own beach supplies but you can also rent an umbrella and chairs from the lifeguards. The beach was not too crowded and the water was nice. You can walk out into the ocean pretty far before it gets deep. The sand was great with minimal to no algae. We woke up early each day and picked our spot on the beach and then my husband worked out at the fitness center. We alternated between the beach and the pool all day, then either DoorDashed or went out to dinner at night. There are tons of restaurants and stores nearby, many within walking distance. We appreciated the full size refrigerator and kitchen, as we had breakfast and lunch in our room each day. There are also dining options at the resort. Once we got back to the suite we played card games at the table until we crashed in the spacious king size bed. Which had plenty of pillows btw. The suite has plenty of storage space so we were able to fully unpack and put everything away. We brought extra hangers for the closet, and I’m glad we did because there were only about 10. (I brought a lot of clothes lol.) All in all, we had a fabulous time. The suite was perfect for the two of us. If you’re looking for modest accommodations with easy access to pools and the beach, I highly recommend this suite. We hope to return someday.

Myrtle Beach VRBO

We stayed at Myrtle Beach the last week in April at the Patricia Grand. The room was very nice and clean and right on the beach. Everything was handled thru Coastal Properties so checking in was so easy. Pet friendly BIG plus!

Quick Weekend Trip
