As you get out of your car you will be greeted by the pungent smell of weed. After speaking to the front desk clerk, was notified check in wasn’t until 4, as it was around 1pm. Was provided WiFi access as well as pool access. But wait! You must bring your own towels to use at the pool as they are not provided by the hotel.
Utilized the pool for a little while and proceeded on with my day. Arrived around 4:30 to check in and was standing room only as myself and roughly 20 other guests were attempting to do the same thing.
The hotel did provide some comedy while waiting as two guests began arguing over cutting in line to the point they were screaming obscenities and almost broke out into a fist fight! My children as well as others were quite entertained. Hotel staff carried on like a server at a bar fight as if nothing was happening.
After getting to the desk, was notified my room wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be until about 6pm.
Checked into the room:
Holy not clean Batman! Floor was dirty, still had grit all over. Went to take a shower, was holding my breath as the black mold above the shower was starting at me. Shower head barely had enough pressure to push the water thru, and looks to be original to the room, from the 1980’s.
Let’s not forget that they have limited parking and you must park either across the street or a block away. I’m sure everyone’s vehicles were closely being watched by every third as you walk away.
