Overall, decent cottage. Comfortable living room and bedrooms. Bathroom is small but fine. Kitchen definitely could be better. While it had all the necessities, the layout was not great. Lower cabinet with pots and pans doesn’t open all the way, and you have to lean over the door due to the stove being in the way. Upper cabinet with glasses and coffee mugs, door opens wrong way, so you have to reach around the door while leaning over the stove. Drip coffee pot warmer was rusted out, so we had to buy keurig cups (instead of using the coffee we brought with us). There was a vacuum cleaner, but it didn’t work (wouldn’t stay on). If I were flying in, I’d choose someplace else as there are no amenities provided past what gets you through a night. Listing clearly states that, so not a surprise, but would be nicer if refillable amenities were installed (dispensers for shampoo/conditioner, body soap for the shower, hand soap for the bathroom sink, and dish soap in the kitchen. Also, only one roll of toilet paper is provided… just seems like a bigger supply could be provided given the nightly price of the stay). Management company was very responsive and friendly. Location was interesting. A four-cottage quad, pretty market ch right on a dune. This cottage had another cottage between it and the beach, so no view. Parking was in the sand, so AWD/4WD is a must! Loved being so close to the beach…
