I can't say enough wonderful things about this home. It is BEAUTIFUL! It's PERFECTLY CLEAN! It's more than WELL STOCKED with anything you need or want, anything! The location is one block from your back door to the beach. It's on a quiet cal-de-sac. All shopping whether for adventures, restaurants, grocery stores or anything you could think of is literally minutes from your door. The hosts of this beautiful home are extremely accessible. Whatever your wants or needs might be they are right there for you. My husband and I vacation every year to get away from the Maine winters and this home by far is #1. Also you couldn't find another pet friendly location anywhere. To sum up: AN ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS BEAUTIFUL WARM HOME & HOSTS!

Beautiful home just steps from the beach! Lots of room for our all adult group of 8 plus fur babies. Dogs loved the secure fenced yard and short walk to beach. Nature preserve with trails was just 3 miles away with lots of shade. Location can’t be beat literally across the street from Jockey's Ridge park! Mulligans has great seafood and drinks- try the crush drink menu you won’t be disappointed- one mile drive from this home. Owners were kind and responsive/ very easy to work with. Eric answered all our questions plus gave us some great tips. House very well stocked with supplies- even a nice beach bag full of presents that our group enjoyed opening! Hosts are just amazing! Book this one- you won’t be disappointed- we will be back. Thank you Eric and Annie for this great space and being such wonderful hosts.

"Ocean Dream On" – A Relaxing Family Getaway in Nags Head

My family and I just returned from a wonderful week at Ocean Dream On in Nags Head—and we couldn’t have asked for a better vacation rental.The SpaceThis spacious five-bedroom, five-bath home was spotless and perfectly laid out. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and cozy bedding. The fully stocked kitchen made meal prep a breeze, and we loved gathering around the breakfast bar to chat while cooking. The grill and outdoor dining were perfect for our hotdog-fest.Poolside BlissThe private, heated pool was a standout feature. We spent hours lounging in bench seating and floating under the sun. It felt like our own little oasis—perfect for family bonding and relaxation. The adjacent hot tub was great as well.Beach Access & LocationJust a couple of blocks from the beach, the home’s location was ideal. The beach had ample space, a lifeguard on duty, and was never crowded. Easy strolls back to the house for lunch or afternoon lounging made it refreshingly convenient.Host ExperienceCheck-in and check-out were seamless. Annie and Eric were exceptional hosts—quick to respond, always ready with local recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed. Their friendliness really enhanced our stay.

From the very first contact with our owner/host (Anne) this vacation rental was perfect. Our host communicated quickly and was very responsive. This house was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 3 young adults. The well-equipped kitchen was one of the best we have we have ever had. Beds and furniture were extremely comfortable. Providing beach towels, all linens, beach cart and beach cooler meant packing much less than usual. Dog friendly is an understatement; the large back yard was perfect. Pool and covered hot tub were great. We had a perfect view of the Nags Head fireworks display from the balcony off the upper-level primary bedroom. This is a great house; quiet neighborhood; short walk to the ocean and extremely well kept and outfitted! Highly recommended! Thanks Anne…we had a great stay in your lovely home!

Perfect for Pre-teens and Pets

We loved everything about this property! The artistic flair, the size, the pool, the pool towels, the covered hot tub, the grill, the kitchen, the array of seating areas, the bedrooms, the beds, the bathrooms, the bath towels, the game room, the beach amenities, the neighborhood, the owner's communication and responses, and the fact that we could have our dogs made this an unforgettable OBX beach vacation! They've thought of EVERYTHING and their hospitality was an incredible gift!

Great Stay

Ocean Dream On was a perfect fit for my family's annual holiday beach trip. Roomy & comfy, well-stocked kitchen, an easy & safe walk to the beach and to Jockey's Ridge, a short drive to grocery stores, many restaurants, and coffee shops. The neighborhood is well-established and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub, slept well on the beds, had plenty of room to gather together and (when we wanted it) to have personal space too. Our group was 5 adults, a teen, & a tween. The owners (Annie & Eric) are great communicators and obviously care about their property & the experience of guests. When we had an unexpected plumbing issue, they responded immediately and had it taken care of, even though it was New Year's Day. Highly recommend. Given the time of year, we couldn't really make use of the swimming pool or the many decks and porches, but they are no doubt great to use in the warmer months. We hope to return!

Great family thanksgiving!

Checked in Tuesday afternoon, and right from the get I knew we were going to love our stay and Thanksgiving holiday! The house was AMAZING, clean, and not sure where you can find another place that has a bathroom/shower attached to just about every bedroom. We are so beyond thankful to have this place allow our doggos tag along with us. It’s so centrally located (to stores, jockeys ridge, the wright brothers, lighthouses, beach,etc). We are already talking about doing it again next year! Thank you for such an amazing stay and memories created! 💝

No TV

No tv in top level bedroom where my son and his wife stayed. Personally I wouldn’t care but younger generation like their tv lol everything else was great and thinking about booking for next year but at 74 the ride is getting longer

Excellent!!!

If I could give 10 stars I would. The house is exactly as advertised and then some. Clean, well equipped and perfect location. The addition of bumper pool and the new outdoor seating area was really great. Everyone from the teens to the grandparents were very happy. The owners are so easy and wonderful to communicate with. If there are any issues they are taking care of things immediately! This was our second stay here and I would not hesitate to come back for a 3rd time! Thanks so much for another amazing vacation.

Ocean Dream On is a Dream Come True!

Ocean Dream On was the perfect home for our extended family of 10! We had family ranging in age from 8 to 71, and everyone was happy! Including the teenagers! The home was immaculate and well thought out. There were personal touches everywhere to make us feel right at home! They even left us a gift bag full of wonderful gifts to take home as souvenirs! The kitchen had everything we needed and there was even a kitchenette with a small AND full size refrigerator on the bottom level. There is also a queen bedroom with a full bathroom on the bottom level which was perfect for our mom who has difficulty with steps. The bedrooms all had comfortable beds and the bathrooms were all very spacious! The outside space is huge and has multiple decks with sitting spaces. The pool was wonderful and there was a great pavilion that provided shade and a grill/picnic table that we used often. There was also a lot of open grass that we used for playing corn hole tournaments. If you’re taking your furry friends this is the yard for you! The location was great- very nice, safe neighborhood and very short walk to the beach! Some of us took our bikes and had a great time riding around the neighborhood and exploring the area! Anne and Eric were wonderful, attentive hosts and their communication was fantastic! We didn’t have any issues, but if we had I know they would have handled it right away! We will be back! Thank you for opening up your beautiful home to us, Anne and Eric!
