A orillas del río Nehalem, muy cerca de las hermosas playas de Oregon

Gran cubierta de dos niveles con vistas al río Nehalem. La casa es una casa de dos niveles de 2200 pies cuadrados, 3 habitaciones con camas para 8 personas, dos baños completos, cuarto de lavado y área abierta amplia de sala y cocina. También hay disponibles kayak para dos personas y dos bicicletas. Se admiten perros con puerta de cubierta a prueba de perros y niños si es necesario Calefacción central y aire con dos ventiladores de techo y chimenea de leña. Los pescadores traen su licencia, las truchas comienzan en mayo y nuestro famoso salmón Chinook corre a fines del verano a principios del otoño.

Lovely property right on the river. Comfortable bed. The house is well equipped and the hot tub felt great after long days of hiking. Got to see lots of wildlife while relaxing on the deck.

Beautiful home by the river and very close to beaches!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, spacious home! The hot tub was lovely and the kitchen was wonderfully large and well stocked with cookware and spices! It was a great place to relax with our pups and was conveniently close to shops and Manzanita beach. Would be happy to stay again!

Beautiful location. All amenities were as described. Very comfortable and homey. The king bed was very comfortable as well. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything néeded for a home cooked meal.

Everything was perfect! Easy entry, very well directions on house operations (WiFi, thermostat, check out instructions etc.). Beds were very comfortable and everything clean throughout the home was great.

Piece of heaven

My friends and I loved our stay on the Nehalem River. It felt very private, relaxing, and cozy. We were within 45 minutes of all the places we wanted to go to other than the airport and Multnomah falls which made it a great experience as well. The hot tub was a huge win for us, we spent each evening of it soaking in the hot tub laughing, relaxing, and enjoying the view. I would recommend this place to everyone wanting to stay on the Oregon Coast.

Lovely, comfortable home & beautiful view of river

Excellent communication from owner. Well stocked kitchen items, bath & bed linens, shampoo, toilet paper, etc. Happy to chill out at this home, using the hot tub, watching the river & seeing the night sky away from the city. Lots of scenic places to hike & enjoy the ocean in this area, too. Loved reading the history of how the home was built. We found it extremely comfortable to stay here.

Quiet and serene

Lovely place to stay. Quiet and right on the river and about 15ish minutes to the manzanita beach. Fully stocked and absolutely beautiful. You can tell lots of love, blood , sweat and tears went in to building this lovely home. Only suggestion I would make is to put non-slip treads on the rugs in the kitchen and halls.

Birthday weekend

Spent the weekend with some great friends from Montana and enjoyed the beautiful house on the river. The hot tub was great and we were sad to leave once our visit was over. Overall great house, I grew up staying at my grandparents house in wheeler where they always had everything you needed and this house felt just like that, warm and comfortable

Wonderful home. Very comfortable and clean. Open floor plan with a well-stocked kitchen. The beds upstairs were sooo comfortable. We enjoyed a fire outside each evening alongside a breathtaking river view. Super nice neighbors. We had a very relaxing long weekend. Thank you, Ted.

Wonderful Relaxing Stay

This home on the river is a great place to unwind and enjoy a beautiful view. It has a homey feel and you can tell it is loved by the owners. Drinking coffee on the deck in the morning, enjoying the hot tub and visiting nearby Manzanita were some of our highlights!

Love the old charm, mixed with the newer amenities, everything worked good, couldn't find the hot tub key. Enjoyed a small fireworks display across the river.

Beautiful house

This house is absolute beautiful! It is well stocked with linens and kitchen items. Ted is very easy to communicate with and is very accommodating. The fully fenced porch is great for the dogs too. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Nehalem Home

We rented this beautiful property for our wedding weekend, not expecting it to be as magical as it was. We enjoyed the beauty of the river, the wild life, and the closeness of the adorable seaside towns and iconic beaches. The house was warm and inviting and non of us wanted to leave.

July 4th on the river

Our group of 4 adults and 2 preteen boys had the best time staying at this beautiful property. Ted was a gem and very communicative and accommodating. The house was perfectly stocked with everything we needed. My son fell in love with kayaking on the river. We saw an abundance of wildlife and got to enjoy an epic fireworks display on the river. 10 out of 10 experience. We will definitely be back!!

What a view!

We had such a wonderful time with our party of 8! We loved the open room concept so we could all be together, though the weather didn’t allow us to sit on the deck we all agreed we would be coming back at a later date when the weather is better, we did enjoy looking out the river and watching for wildlife.. Ted was easy to work with, answered all questions and check in was a breeze!

Very relaxing

Great place to stay. Spent two weeks there during the summer. Sat on the deck and watched the boats go by on the river. Watched the deer graze in the meadow across the street. Enjoyed the local flavor, especially Wanda’s and Buttercup. Short drive to the beach at Manzanita. 5 stars.

Four Great Days with Family

Our Family LOVES this property. We have stayed twice now, once in Spring and once in Fall and both were amazing. Fishing, ocean, restaurants and mostly the view from the house overlooking the river. No con's about this place, worth every penny. And my dog loved it too!!!!

Riverside Gem

My family experienced our best vacation ever at this property. If you love just observing nature, close proximity to a wealth of hiking, and the ocean a short drive away…this might be the rental for you. My older kids loved kayaking on the river with the 2 person kayak that is available. After a day of hiking it was nice to sit in the hot tub on the deck and gaze at the river. The large kitchen/ family area makes it easy for everyone to eat and relax together.

Relaxation Time

We had a very relaxing, fun time with family and friends. The house had everything we needed. A flyer was left telling about a Jazz festival at a local winery. We went and had a great time, it was just down the road. We even did a little fishing but nothing was biting, but we still had fun. Beautiful home with everything you need!

Perfect Getaway

The Gibson House is a wonderful family getaway spot. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Thoroughly enjoyed the location and amenities. The house was clean, comfy beds and beautiful location. Hope to visit this location again. Only thing we did notice there was only one wash cloth between the two bathrooms. We made do but may want to consider adding more. Other than that perfect.

What an Amazing Place!

We arrive on Friday and we’re immediately blown away. To be honest, the pictures don’t do it justice. We held our wedding here and there was plenty of space and parking. The water was beautiful, the lush greenery was perfect. Ted was a great host, very helpful, quick to reply to questions. We definitely plan to return!
