“This cabin was super cozy in a very serene setting. Everything was fully supplied in the kitchen and bathroom. Maria was very responsive and helpful with any questions. I highly recommend staying at this wonderful cabin if you are looking for a quiet setting when visiting Nelson and a 6 min drive to the city center. We had our dog with us and he was even relaxed. We will definitely stay here again at our next visit to Nelson. Thanks again, Maria.”

“Great little place to stay during our motorcycle trip through the area. Amenities were clean and well stocked. As long as people are aware of what you’re getting and the fact that the bathroom, kitchen is separate etc. it was really cute and super fun. Felt like camping, but without having to lug any of the gear and a much more comfortable place to sleep. Just what we were looking for.”

“What a fantastic property...this beautiful cabin nestled in the trees beside the creek. We even had wild turkeys coming through 2 of the days. Walking distance to the beach/swimming...super clear water was lovely. The cabin has everything you need and stays cool due to it being in the trees beside the creek. We'd definitely come back. “I was looking for a place to spend a couple of days to take a break on while traveling on business & this was a perfect place as it was quiet area. We spent most of our time out on the deck & enjoying the creek & nature. The cabin was clean & well stocked & would highly recommend staying here & will defiantly plan on coming back.”

“Love this hidden gem. My son and I enjoyed our stay immensely, and will stay there again when in Nelson. The kitchen had everything we needed, the living room was spacious, my don slept on the sofa and found it comfortable, my bed was really comfy, and the bathroom was nice and roomy. “Beautiful view! Cozy house with all the amenities - appreciated the smart TV on a rainy night. The driveway down to the house was a bit rough for a small car, ended up parking at the top after the first night. Inside, everything was very clean and tidy. “this is an adorable little property! the outdoor seating area is lovely, perfect for a relaxing drink around the fire or for roasting mashmallows with the kids. the bed might actually be the most comfortable bed i've ever slept in. check in was super easy, and the location was amazing. very close to the city making access to services a breeze while also being secluded and peaceful enough that you forget you're essentially still in the city ”

“Glamping paradise! The pictures say a lot, but it's even better in person. Waking up and going to sleep lakeside is a privilege and a pleasure here. The night skies are pure and star-filled. Babs, the owner, is accommodating , personable, and aims to please! We can highly recommend this lovely spot. It's a little work to get down to the cottage, so pack accordingly. But it's SO, SO worth it!!!”

We had a fire one night, which was great, enjoyed the peaceful surroundings with easy access to Slocan, about 10 minutes away. We cycled the Rail Trail and enjoyed exploring the interesting villages close by. ”
