We loved this property! There were twelve of us, eight adults ranging in age from 40 to 70, and four children, ages 6, 9, 12, and 12. The house was immaculate. The kitchen was perfectly clean, with everything you could want. We shopped at the local H.E.B. before we checked in, so we cooked a lot at the house. There were a lot of tasteful touches, like a wicker basket that held the pool towels.My favorite part of the house was the shower in the master suite. I got that room all to myself, because this trip was for my 70th birthday and my family insisted I take that room. The shower was heavenly. Lots of water pressure, lots of hot water. It was great! (Everyone else was happy with their bathrooms too.) We had rented two vehicles, which fit neatly under the house, next to the two golf carts we also rented. It was such fun, taking the golf carts to nearby restaurants and running errands with them. I think everyone's favorite activity though was tubing on the Camal River. We rented tubes from the same people who provided the golf carts, and everything was there when we arrived. There's a river access point very close to the house, but we used one a little farther away in a city park; I'm not sure why, but my son-in-law had scoped everything out on arrival and thought this was better.The pool was lovely and clean, and the furniture around the pool was very comfortable.If I have my way we'll come back next year!
