Great House and Great Location…clean & spacious for family vacation. We Love floating the river but this was a quiet float to actually relax and enjoy company without all the crowds. We will be back!

Great Home

We had a wonderful stay at Ponderosa Paradise. The house was perfect and we had beautiful views of the river. It had everything we needed and my grandsons had a great time and we’re able to stay warm and play in the playroom.

Annual float trip

This is a yearly traditional trip we been doing 10 plus yrs. This property out of all I have booked, is by far the best. The location the house everything was top notch. So much so we all agreed to try and get it for next yr. Any future guest wont be disappointed especially by the location.

Greatness On The Guadalupe

The beautiful home, back yard, and river deck helped this property turn a holiday weekend into an unforgettable experience. Any fan of the great outdoors would find themselves right at home around the beautiful landscape, as well as the refreshing river that begs you to jump in. The living room is great for entertaining friends, family, or anyone in between. Our stay was magical, and we hope to be back soon.

Family Christmas

This was a great property for our family! We spent our Christmas here as our oldest son could not come home for the holidays so we came to New Braunsfels! We are a fishing family and loved this home …we fished off the dock and caught, bass, trout and sunfish. The house was clean the beds we super comfortable and the showers were great. My family and I felt like we were at home. Thank you for allowing us to stay

Best stay ever at a VRBO Home!

We were already excited to fish the Guad but this house made our weekend complete! Super clean, dog friendly and all the beds were so comfortable! And the view! Incredible location on the river with complete serenity but close enough to it all! We will be back !!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked this house as a Quick can get away Between Christmas and New Year’s. We were traveling with four adults and six kids.The location is wonderful being that it’s on a wonderful spot on the river minutes from Gruene as well as New Braunfels. We had fun fishing off of the dock as well as taking little excursions around Canyon Lake.The house layout is a great layout, but the house itself is in desperate need of repairs. Cooking utensils, pots/pans, and other cooking items are broken or needing replaced. Multiple chairs are broken and the dock stairs are falling apart. Again great location and we were happy with our stay here.

Perfect River spot

We had the best time here! The fenced yard was great for our 2 pups. The deck was a perfect hangout spot. We took advantage of corn hole game and the pool table. Everything was perfectly clean and the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, silverware and utensils. The location on the river was perfect and beautiful. We fished and kayaked and really had the best time. We will be back!

Birthday celebration

The house was perfect for us…three teenaged girls in the bunk room, our daughter and son-in-law in the guest room, and my husband and I in the main bedroom. The October weather was great with 90 degree weather for the girls to swim in the river and 60 degree weather for comfortable nights and early mornings with coffee on the porch and the lower deck.

It was so cool to have the pool table, corn hole, horseshoe pit and darts along with being right on the river to give my kids lots of things to do. They even brought in a 2nd refrigerator to go along with all of the other high end appliances. It was so quiet on this end of the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back in a heartbeat!
