No burdensome rules at the Austin Haus or “To Do” lists here. All accommodations are thoroughly cleaned after each guest checks out so it’s ready for you upon arrival.
Austin Street Haus is equipped with the HALO-LED first LED in-duct, whole home air purification system that is both mercury free and zero ozone compliant providing you with a healthy, clean environment. The Austin Street Haus is in an ideal location. Schlitterbahn is 4 blocks down the street, and within a mile of downtown and the river access at Hinman Island Park. It is a charming 3/2 Victorian built in the early 1900's with updated amenities making it a comfortable retreat for 6 of your family and friends.

When you are finished playing on the river, enjoy the solitude of this lovely home in a quiet residential neighborhood. Sit on your front porch with your favorite beverage to watch the neighborhood deer, hummingbirds, and other urban wildlife. Step into the living room and notice the high ceilings, hardwood floors, window transoms, and charming decor and embellishments. You are truly in a doll house. Three bedrooms and 2 full baths make this a comfortable home for 6 guests. TVs in the living room (65”) and each of the bedrooms round out your viewing opportunities.
The home is fully furnished with linens, towels, utensils, dishes, pots and pans. The kitchen has a microwave, refrigerator, gas oven/stove, dishwasher and coffeemaker. There is a separate dining area in the sunroom/office. The back screened porch houses the washer/dryer. Exit out the rear door to find a lovely backyard with a glider, outdoor furniture, and picnic area for some down-home entertainment and visiting.

As a guest at The Austin Street Haus, you have the entire home all to yourself. Because of its location near Schlitterbahn, downtown, and the river, it’s just perfect for your stay in New Braunfels and Texas Hill Country. The "Austin Street Haus" has a permit with the city of New Braunfels as an approved short term vacation rental which assures your health and safety.
Host requires a signed rental agreement. The agreement is provided via email and must be returned completed and signed before access information is granted.
