    Welcome to Berrien Harbor House!

    Located in the heart of New Buffalo, Berrien Harbor House is a spacious four-bedroom, three-bathroom home that is perfect for your next Harbor Country getaway.

    Enjoy your own private heated pool (open May 20–October 8), complete with a retractable safety cover, plus an outdoor fire pit that’s perfect for roasting s’mores under the stars. The outdoor dining and lounge areas provide the ideal setting for poolside meals and relaxing evenings.

    Inside, the main floor features a fully stocked kitchen with island seating for two, two dining areas with seating for up to 10 guests, and a comfortable family room with a large-screen TV. The main level also offers three bedrooms: one with a king bed, one with a queen bed, and one with two extra-long twin beds. Two full bathrooms are conveniently located on the main floor.

    The second floor features a spacious bedroom with two queen beds, a TV, and a gas fireplace. Guests will also enjoy access to a screened-in balcony with seating and a full bathroom featuring a jacuzzi tub.

    Amenities Include:

    -Linens and bath towels / pool towels (please don’t take to the beach!)

    Rental Policies
    -All guests are required to sign our Guest Occupancy Agreement.
    -Maximum parking for four (4) vehicles.
    -Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age.
    -A maximum of two (2) dogs are permitted with prior approval. Dogs must be 50 pounds or less each.
    -No cats or other pets are permitted.
    -A non-refundable pet fee of $300 for first dog and $150 for 2nd dog, per stay applies.
    -Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage and for cleaning up after their pets both inside and outside the property.
    -No parties, events, or large gatherings are permitted on the property.

Great Stay

Spacious Home Great Deck and Pool

Very nice for 8 guests ranging in age from 3-90, with 2 dogs! Home is easy to access, and the deck and pool in back are perfect for relaxing. Close to marina and restaurants. Everything is clean and up to date.

Great Girls Getaway!

We had amazing time at the property! The house was so close to restaurants and shopping in New Buffalo that we were able to walk. Even though it was not as warm as we hoped we still had a great time enjoying the backyard and pool. Overall the house was clean and the perfect size for even 10 adults! I would definitely stay there again.

Surprise find in New Buffalo

New Buffalo has become our vacation spot. This house was perfect for six of us. Accommodations were great for four adults and two teens. Very clean. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Pool was fun. Quiet location. Ability to walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants was a highlight. We will definitely return to this house.

Clean and comfy!

Our group of friends (all 60+ Women) absolutely loved this property, and some of them are pretty hard to please.. We enjoyed the pool so much that we rarely even went out. Having gorgeous weather helped, but the 5 of us were very comfortable and really able to relax. We did some damage in the shops, too. Just a perfect week, you can’t go wrong here. We like to jump around every year, but may have to consider a repeat for next year.

New Buffalo Review

Everything was good. The only issues were that the coffee pot was not working - seems like someone broke the pot and replaced it with one that did not work with the machine. We had to get a coffee pot the morning after arriving. Also, the heated pool was supposed to be open the weekend we were there. We planned to use it even with the colder weather and we’re very disappointed that we were not able to as the winter cover was already on. Otherwise, it was as advertised and we’d likely consider returning in the future.

Great location, wonderful pool.

We had a wonderful family vacation at this house. We spent many hours, especially the children in the pool. The pool cover was a great safety feature. Short, nice walk into town. 1st floor bedrooms are on the small side, but the upstairs master was spacious. We would love to stay here again.

Great Get Away

Great location - close walk to beach and town. The house has plenty of space, a nice screened in porch off the upstairs bedroom, a spacious and fenced in backyard and the beds are very comfortable! We have rented other properties in New Buffalo and I would rank this property at the top of the list. Communication was excellent you can tell the owners put a lot of thought into making sure that visitors are comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Renewed in New Buffalo

We three couples have taken a fall leaf-peeping long weekend for 20 years, renting houses all over Michigan. This house fit us perfectly. The family room seating arrangement was really conducive to conversation. The kitchen - unlike other houses we've rented - was very well stocked with dishes, glassware, pots, etc. The heated pool -- in mid-October! - was an added luxury and much appreciated. And even an old codger like me could make the walk to downtown New Buffalo without breaking a sweat!

Family Getaway

The house was very clean and the outdoor heated pool was a nice bonus enjoyed by all on a warm fall weekend! A great location to town and lakefront for walks anytime with family and pup!

Perfect house for group

We had a group of 9 and the property and location were perfect for the group. Walking distance to the Marina for rentals and town strip for food and entertainment. The backyard was perfect for games and plenty of space for groups to gather in different areas. We would go back!

Perfection

Perfect house for family vacation. Lovely, clean, fabulous layout and location, location, location. Beautiful linens and a truly well stocked kitchen. Great pool area and condusive for games, casual meals, s’mores or just conversing. Can’t wait to return.

Family Beach House Vacation

We all (ages 7 - 85) enjoyed our stay at the house. There place was clean, there was plenty of room and it is so close to everything in town. The check-in process was very simple and the owners were quick to respond if we needed anything. We had a great time and hope to rent this house again in the coming years.

Family Vacation in New Buffalo

Very clean and well maintained property. The pool was great. The steps provided easy entry for our group ages 8 months to 77 years. I would highly recommend this rental.

Family vacay getaway

Great place for family getaway—only wish the weather cooperated—wind, rain, storms and tornado warnings. The backyard and pool area were the best features, we needed more outside time but would recommend this property!

Excellent Pool!

We enjoyed our stay here. The pool really made the trip. Easy check-in process, and great location next to the marina. Unfortunately with the shoreline project, we did not have any lake/beach access - but with the pool in the backyard this was not an issue. The pool guy visited twice to ensure the pool stayed clean, and the pool has a secure cover so no worries about dogs/kids falling in when the cover is on. The biggest bedroom upstairs has two skylights with no shades on them, so if you sleep past dawn make sure to bring an eye mask! Someone had previously commented that the knives were dull, so we brought our own but there was a brand new knife set when we arrived - good to know the owners/mgmt company take reviews seriously. The house is not the most updated (stall showers are pretty tight, air handler roars when it’s on) - but it stayed cool on both levels and the pool was where we were most of the time anyways. Thanks for a great stay!
