“Location was everything! Enjoyed all the shops and many restaurants. My spouse cannot eat gluten which typically limits his menu choices but Portsmouth eateries were exceptionally aware and accommodating to his dietary needs. Beautiful fall foliage was a bonus!”

“Wonderfuly quiet, clean, freindly place to stay with access to beautiful morning walks on a long ( albeit hilly) dirt road with very little traffic. Lots of snow on the ground when I was there but I am sure in the summer, the fields and surrounding woods are as enjoyable to explore. Had I been traveling for leisure i'd have definitely brought snow shoes. What I did bring was my dog Tavi and he also had a great time with plenty of room to move around and get out for walks.
