“Nice wooded lot, clean home. Dogs loved playing fetch around the home. “Lived” on the lower level where the shower and king bed were. Convenient drive and door so items could be unloaded from the car.”

It was a bit rainy, but we were able to enjoy some nice walks outside. We enjoyed cooking together, playing games, and watching movies. We especially enjoyed being able to hang out on the porch, where there was a nice breeze.”

“The house and lot have everything you need. The lot and location is amazing! Lovely decor. Quality linens, towels, mattresses, appliances, cookware. Lots of storage and countertop space. Fishing was GREAT! We will definitely be booking this home again. We had such a great time and ENJOYED the lake views. The host was very informative and quick to respond. Thank you so much!”

“We really enjoyed staying at the Tar Heel House. It was just what we were looking for on our long weekend getaway with friends and family. It’s nestled back in the woods which gives you the feeling of being in the mountains. Every room in the house offered amazing views of the lake. Easy access putting the boats in at the marina. Lots of open water for skiing, wake surfing and tubing. The fishing was great as well. We caught a variety brim, crappy and catfish. We will definitely be booking and...

“This home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the electric fireplaces, is it was cool in the evenings and they added a wonderful warmth to the rooms. Although we may never need a place in this area again, we would absolutely stay here.”

“Our family had a wonderful vacation at M&D's Lakeshore Bliss! After visiting the NC Zoo, this was a perfect location to extend our family fun with great water views and plenty of outdoor and indoor amenities. We especially enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and lounging on the screened-in porch. The game room was a big hit for all ages - Pop-a-Shot basketball, karaoke, air hockey, ping pong, pool and so much more. The house was immaculate and the hosts were exceptionally accommodating...
