Escape to tranquility at Badin Lake

  • Nestled in the Uwharrie National Forest this lakefront home offers
    breathtaking sunsets and peaceful quiet mornings. We are a Green home, producing our power via solar panels during the day and to keep our costs down. This is a smoke free home. There are three spacious bedrooms on the upper level with a large full bath. Two bedrooms have a breathtaking lake view. On the lake level is the gathering room, kitchen and another full bath opening to a grandiose stone wrap around porch. A large boat dock and wading area in the lake compliment any level of swimmer. A canoe is available to enjoy fishing and the serenity of the lake's 115 miles of shoreline. bring your bait the fish are biting. We also partner with a Boat rental providing a 25 ft 200HP tritoon for family fun and sunset cruises. See our photos to coordinate your trip with a local boat.

Great house, close proximity to uwharrie OHV trails and the zoo. We were able to fit 3 trucks, trailers and rock crawlers between the driveways. Would definitely recommend to any larger groups staying in the area! Only recommendation for the hosts would be make the upper door a lockable entrance door so you could avoid the stairs when possible!

Family vacation

We always enjoy this property we have done this yearly usually we only get to spend 4 days this time we used an entire week and had a lot of fun caught bass in the lake canoed and visited with family and friends

Nice Vacation Home - Minus the steps

Our family had a great time fishing and swimming. A great area. The only minus is the stairs that literally go straight up to the bedrooms.

Jeep Jamboree Get-together

Family and friends stayed at the Lakehouse and it worked out perfectly! Especially clean, nicely outfitted and with what a view. The owners responses to my questions were amazingly fast. Strongly recommend this place for any stay in and around Badin Lake!!

Beautiful Lakefront Home

Our group of friends gets together each year for a getaway. We chose this place this year and were very happy that we did. The house was perfect. The host was very responsive and we had a great time relaxing by the lake. decision

Summer vacation

The check in was very simple. The downstairs living space was comfortable, clean and had all the views. Location at the end of the cove was very quite, but the catfish didn't venture down to the end. Dock worked great and allowed good access for many hours floating in the water. Friends were able to bring their boat down and visit. We didnt expect the temperatures to be as hot as they were, we had a pop-up canopy that fit on the dock great. Very quiet and peaceful get-a-way.

Long Weekend

Wonderful lake property! Very clean home with plenty of room. We enjoyed the kitchen and living area being on the main floor and the bedrooms being located upstairs. This definitely helped those who wanted to sleep in or nap not be disturbed. The floats provided by the owners were very thoughtful, we used them to float in the water right at the home’s dock and felt very safe. It is important to know there is no boat ramp on the property, however, we found a nearby public boat access and had no problems navigating back to the house. We didn’t want to leave and would love to stay here again!

Awesome Lake House

Marjorie your house was just what we were looking for. Any closer to the water and we would have been in it. The covered porch was our favorite coffee spot…one morning a storm came through and we loved watching it go across the lake from the porch. We would recommend this house to anyone that loves the lake. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise with us! God bless!

3rd year visiting this property - hope to return again!

The property is well maintained, host is great, and location is perfect for our family. The stairs are challenging for someone with mobility issues but every lake house we have rented has had stairs. This one offers exactly what we need and Majorie has always been super wonderful to work with. We don't spend as much time on the water as most guests probably do so had to repeatedly reset the thermostat to keep house cool (71-72), but we understand the need to keep utility costs down.

Great Getaway

Badin Lake

This was a great rental. The whole process was easy from beginning to end. The notifications were timely. Communication with the property owner was easy too. The lake was beautiful and relaxing. We are definitely returning for more lake visits.

Check in and check out process- plain and simple. Very pleased with the response time from the home owner when asked questions and issues were addressed in a timely manner. I would not hesitate in staying here again.
