Bear Necessities is your waterfront home away from home while you visit Badin Lake. Located on a quiet cove with a two level dock, this relaxed and laid back property features four bedrooms with 3 queen, 1 full and 1 twin beds, perfect for your kids to bring their friends along. Guests can relax in the living room, while watching the 50" Roku TV or playing some of the many board games with the family. The vintage 1960's vinyl furniture doesn't care if the kids have wet swimsuits on or get crumbs on the sofa. There is a full kitchen with everything you need to cook for the whole crew (from pots and pans to blender and hand mixer) with countertop dining inside and a dining table that seats 6 as well as other seating on the expansive and comfortable screened porch overlooking the water, this is a wonderful place to have your early morning coffee while listening to the lake wake up and watching for herons and the occasional egret. There is plenty of room for cool drinks and popsicles in the secondary fridge on the porch. Enjoy sunning on the top deck of the 2 story dock and fishing or swimming from the lower level with built in rod holders and 2 ladders for convenient access into or out of the water or enter next to the boat ramp for easy water access for the little ones. There is a covered boat slip with a winch for a smaller boat (sorry, it won't fit a pontoon but there is space to tie it on the far side of the dock). The house is located in a safe and cozy cove that lends itself to clear boundaries for the kids and very low boat traffic. Enjoy s'mores and spooky stories at the brand new fire-pit or play corn hole and lawn darts in the open yard. Hot dogs will be easy with the Charbroil Professional grill or if you are too tired from swimming to even think about cooking dinner, Scallywags Bar and Grill is only a 6 minute walk and offers live music and karaoke on the weekends. On those days when the weather is unpleasant there is central heat and air to keep you comfortable. You can pack light because there is a full sized washer and dryer and a clothes line as well. We supply linens and towels so that's one thing you won't need to worry about and if you forget some necessities Dollar General is just a 5 minutes drive.
