This home was in a safe, quiet and beautiful neighborhood, 5 minutes to ferry, close to a great coffee shop and delicious tacos. It had everything we needed for a lovely stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this home for our first trip to New Orleans. The house was in an ideal quiet location to get into town: right by the ferry to the French Quarter, with access to the streetcars and buses and right next to good food restaurants and pubs. The house itself is clean and very nice; good facilities; comfortable beds; good a/c (It was hot outside!) - just what we needed for our stay. Bruce was super responsive and helpful. A very relaxing and enjoyable week!!

We were in town for a conference at a large hotel on Canal St. This location was fairly close and gave the home atmosphere. We also really appreciated the neighborhood and the restaurants nearby. The home was as it appears in the pictures and the neighborhood was quiet.There are two thermostats one for each side of the house. The one for the left side took me some time to find because it was concealed behind the bedroom in the living room area when the door was open.

This property is very clean a spacious. Bruce is a great property host. You wont be disappointed.Don't forget to eat the Taco across the street.

We enjoyed the house, location, and the host. We were there for a wedding and the home was easy for us to host a brunch the day after the wedding! Easy to get around the area to shop and to get to the city of New Orleans.

Cute house, rooms are cozy. In the summer it absolutely gets hot and the air conditioning can have a tough time keeping up but plenty of fans to help keep the air moving. There is an adorable neighborhood cat that comes around. Walk to the ferry isn’t long, and a couple nice diners and coffee shops within a 10 minute walk. The single most important thing I can mention in my review is the taco stand basically across the street, Barracuda Taco. Truly a gem to be so close to, and you will thank yourself for checking them out.

Safe neighborhood, enjoyed the ferry ride each day over to the French Quarter. Once we parked at the VRBO we didn't need to use the car until we headed home

We loved staying in the Algiers neighborhood and using the ferry to cross the river. The house is beautiful and as advertised. There is a great taco place just down the street. The owner is quick to respond to any questions or concerns. I would love to come back!

Quiet neighborhood and easy to get around
