Spacious home for up to 8 people. 4-bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. 2 parlors and a 2nd story balcony that overlooks Frenchmen, full kitchen . Relax as you are in the heart of what is known as the "Locals French Quarter". Jazz Pubs, Arts Market, and New Orleans dining are literally steps from the estate. Just walk out the front door and all that New Orleans is famous for, is steps away. Home was built in 1880 with classic, high ceilings and spacious rooms and over 2300 Sq. feet of living space. Four large bedrooms, 3- king size upstairs and 1-queen size downstairs and updated with 3 bathrooms . Don't get a cramped hotel room when you can live large in this New Orleans estate with a balcony that looks over all the Frenchmen Street fun. Spotted Cat, The Maison, 30/-90 Club, Bamboula's and Adolfo's restaurant are just seconds away. The Frenchmen Street Night -Time Art Market is just around the corner and the New Orleans Mint, River front and French Quarter start in the next block. All in walking distance .

Great place, host, and location

This place was awesome for the group that I was with. The facilities had a great kitchen, private bathrooms, plenty of bedrooms, and places to relax. Would definitely stay again!

This historic entire home (not a shotgun) is in a great location being near the corner of Frenchmen and Chartres. It has street parking in front when available and a paid parking lot close by. We loved this historic home and our stay. It had comfortable furnishings and modern conveniences. Loved the antique furniture and chandeliers. The music noise was only loud our first night with a large band setting up on the corner but the house is well built and dampens it. There's a little grocery store on Frenchmen nearby, too. There were plenty of homeless sleeping on the street which was sad (usual for NOLA). The house has a nice size backyard with fruit (lemons?) on a tree. That backyard would be so nice if it was cleaned up some and made in to a nice courtyard. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

We had a great time in New Orleans and the location was great for walking. A little loud but that was expected when staying by all of the action. Kent was a great host.

Perfect Space and Location

Great Space for friends or family visits. Bedrooms are all large and 2.5 baths is luxurious. Large kitchen as well, wish we planned to cook more.

Great place!

This property was fabulous! Great location and walking distance to the quarter, and the music and night life of Frenchman Street right outside. The house and location were even better than we anticipated! We will absolutely keep this place in mind for future visits!

Great stay

We had a great stay! Kent was very accommodating. Charming historic New Orleans house. Loved the balcony overlooking Frenchmen street. Highly recommend if you want to be in the heart of it all.

Perfect Location

Be prepared to stay up late and sleep in to enjoy this spot as the locals! Great food in the neighborhood and within walking distance to the tourist area of the French Quarter. The house is spacious and there’s plenty of room to hang out as a family. Great host!

Great walkable location close to great food and music.

We had a great stay, everything was as pictured, check in was seamless with good communication from the owner. The house was set up with plenty of supplies, we were very comfortable. While we personally enjoyed the energy and atmosphere of Frenchmen St., light sleepers should note that due to the proximity of local night life this is not a quiet place.

This was a great place to stay to be right in the mix with music. It was loud until 3 am on weekend nights but we expected that. Home was comfortable and secure

WHAT A PLACE!

Had a group of guys from all over the USA get together to celebrate a friend’s 50th birthday and this place was absolutely perfect. If you need a quiet place look elsewhere as there is a party right outside the door every night. Kent the owner was super responsive and the house was perfect - clean, comfortable, and spacious. Looking forward to going back and making more memories.

This was a wonderful property, and within walking distance to most of the things we wanted to go to. I loved that it had its own parking space as well (although at one point, someone did come along and take it, but Jose called the tow company right away). It was air conditioned to the perfect temperature and accommodated all 6 of us adults quite well! Beds were comfy, too. It was very noisy at night, but we knew that going into it, so were prepared for that. We loved people watching from the front porch and balcony - very entertaining! I highly recommend this stay for your trip to New Orleans!
