Elegantemente renovado, 100 años de antigüedad, escopeta histórica doble en Lower Garden District

Ubicado en el histórico distrito Lower Garden, en un barrio residencial seguro y ecléctico. Está a unos 2 millas / 15 minutos del Barrio Francés, y 12 millas / 25 minutos del Aeropuerto Louis Armstrong. Mantenemos todo cómodo, acogedor y limpio. Después de una exploración de Nueva Orleans durante todo el día, volverás a casa donde realmente podrás relajarte y regenerarte para el día siguiente.

Nuestra casa fue construida originalmente en 1919 con muchos detalles históricos mantenidos intactos desde su renovación. Es un tipo de dúplex de dos direcciones con un diseño llamado una casa estilo "Escopeta" en Nueva Orleans, también llamado un ferrocarril o un apartamento de paso en otras regiones. Está recientemente renovado y cuenta con techos de 12 pies, molduras de techo, pisos de madera noble originales, chimeneas y repisas de ladrillo originales, puertas de bolsillo originales, ventanas grandes y persianas de plantación. Desde el porche se puede ver la torre de San Iglesia de la Asunción de María, y escuchar las campanas sonar en la hora en la distancia.

Una vez dentro, disfrute de un salón con transmisión de entretenimiento a pedido, cocina completa, espacio de oficina, 2 habitaciones con camas queen size, 2 baños completos, WiFi, aire acondicionado central y calefacción. Puede descansar tranquilo por la noche sabiendo que la propiedad tiene 5 cámaras de vigilancia al aire libre, sensores en todas las puertas y ventanas, detector de movimiento interior y servicio de monitoreo las 24 horas, así como servicio mensual de control de plagas.

OUTSTANDING all the way!

Not only was their beautiful creole cottage house perfectly NOLA, street parking was super accessible and the location in the lower Garden District was just right, but the host went out of his way to help me out, even bringing me an ice pack, considering I was injured before our trip. So friendly and welcoming! All the house instructions were easily accessible, the alarm system easy to use, it was only 3 blocks to magazine st, and a couple more to the streetcar, so many restaurants to choose from within a 6 block radius, and the French Quarter is only a15 min drive away. We will 100% stay here again and we fully recommend you stay here too. Their little dog was just the cherry on top and you'll love rocking on the porch and watching everyone go by.

Perfect Stay

Came down to New Orleans for a few days with some girlfriends. The property is beautifully appointed and very clean. Lots of amenities were a really nice and unexpected touch. Kirk walked us through everything and was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. I've stayed at a lot of rental properties and this was by far my favorite! Thanks for a great vaca!

Fantastic house and location

We had a great stay and would recommend to others! Great location as only a few blocks to Magazine St and the trolley on St Charles. Loved having the backyard and hot tub to unwind in the evening. The bottle of champagne was a special treat. Hosts were wonderful and house was well stocked and very clean. Thanks for having us!

Weekend concert trip

Wonderful weekend getaway

You simply could not ask for a nicer home or nicer property owners. They have went above and beyond to make this a wonderful home that is lacking absolutely nothing!! Great location as well. Either walking distance or a very short drive to anything you could want. Will definitely be coming back here in the future!

Quick Trip

We stayed in New Orleans for the TN vs LSU game. The drive to Baton Rouge was very easy! Kirk and Iwona’s shotgun style house was so beautiful!! Everything was perfectly appointed! The decor was amazing! The neighborhood was ok, and we felt very safe. Those traveling from larger metro areas prob wouldn’t think twice about the area. There was ample street parking. Thank you Iwona and Kirk!

Luxury Unit with Everything You Need

Just three blocks from fashionable Magazine Street, this rental is modern, tastefully furnished and equipped with just about everything you need. Owners Kurt & Iwona are charming and responsive hosts who are attentive to the "little touches" that make one's stay that more pleasurable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this rental.

Historic Home in Historic City

Loved to explore New Orleans and then come home to continue to enjoy historic feel of the city in our clean, fully stocked comfortable "Shotgun" home. Owners were right next door, to make sure we had everthing we needed, but also respected our privacy. They even were there to greet us at the door when we checked in late at 2am from our west coast flight. Unit was stocked with everything to prepare for a wedding (iron, ironing board, steamer, laundry machines) also had amazing accomodations of 10 flavors of coffee Keurig cups, lots of hair and skin products, all appliances and utilities worked 100%. We enjoyed the cooler mornings on the front porch rocking chairs and the warm evenings on the deck in the back. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and hope to come back soon. Thank you Iwona and Kirk!

MSY warmth

We enjoyed our stay very much.....the property was immaculate! The owners were very nice and accessible!. The back yard set up was nice, ( especially during covid, being able to be outside). We enjoyed the property........it was a bit loud on New Years Eve and New Years Day due to fireworks......but that was beyond owners control.

Great Place to Stay with a Toddler

Couldn’t be happier with our experience. It was my wife, our 15 month old, my mother, and me. Place was very clean and well stocked. They also have everything you need for a toddler/baby including a high chair, pack and play, and some great toys. Owners were great. Very responsive and easy to work with. Walking distance to Magazine St. and parking was never a problem. Shotgun layout made it a little tricky with a baby and people going to bed at different times but other than that our stay was perfect.

Ultimate NOLA Experience

There is so much to see in NOLA outside the Quarter, CBD and the Warehouse district. This home make that discovery special. So easy to get to those other locations and if course the Garden District. The home was amazing. We own a VRBO a condo and this experience exceeds anything we have stayed in. Absolutely, awesome with nothing left untouched. Perfect.

Party of 5 in NOLA!

Made a last minute decision to book a trip with my husband, 5, 8, & 9 year old to New Orleans. It ended up being one of our best trips! Ilona & Kirk were wonderful, their place is about two blocks from Magazine st.. tons of shopping, eating (including the best Ice Cream Shop!), and right next to the Garden District. The house was fully stocked. First VRBO we stayed in and they had EVERYTHING! It was a great check in, we even checked in pretty late. It was clean, cozy, had great windows with tons of light, and had all the TV amenities. The front porch was great in the evening to wind down. There was a great park for the kids a couple blocks away. I could go on and on! Definitely keeping this house saved for future trips to NOLA! Thank you Iwona & Kirk for such a great experience:)
