  • GRAN ÁREA, segura, sin crimen! Duerme 8 o 16 con el alquiler de la segunda mitad de la casa (ver vrbo # 402412). Se trata de dos casas de 4 dormitorios en Arabi. Arabi está en St. Parroquia de Bernard (Condado). Arabi tiene una aplicación de la ley superior que no tolera el crimen. Cuando te quedas en Arabi, puedes disfrutar de todas las cosas divertidas que Nueva Orleans tiene para ofrecer, pero vuelves a dormir en Arabi sin preocuparte de que alguien entre en tu casa o en tu automóvil. Además, puedes caminar con seguridad por las calles por la noche en este vecindario. No te arriesgues. ¡Tenga unas vacaciones libres de crimen alojándose en esta casa!

    Esta es una casa bellamente restaurada 3. 5 millas del barrio francés. Barrio muy seguro. Mucho espacio de estacionamiento. Además, muy cerca del lanzamiento de un bote que ofrece la mejor pesca del país. Quédate un día o dos más. Trae un bote o alquila un capitán de pesca y ve a pescar.

    La casa tiene 4 camas king. Hay 3 baños completos y medio baño. Completamos la remodelación de la casa en febrero de 2020. Al lado hay otra casa con 4 camas king y 3. 5 baños. Completamos la remodelación de la segunda casa en 2015. Tenemos aire y calefacción central y una lavadora / secadora en la casa. La casa tiene una pérgola con mesa y sillas y un bonito porche lateral con mesa y sillas. El porche delantero es un buen lugar para sentarse en las tardes con puesta de sol detrás de la casa. Desde el porche, o una caminata de 2 cuadras hasta el río, puedes ver los cruceros, botes de remo y barcos de carga subir y bajar el río Mississippi. Esta es la relajación sureña en su mejor momento. El barrio francés está a 10-15 minutos.

    Nueva Orleans está a tres cuadras de distancia. El Barrio Francés está a 3. 5 millas de esta ubicación.

This location was very quiet and nice to get away from the New Orleans main area. It was close to the Mississippi River so we walked to look at it. There could have been more hot water with 3 bathrooms but really can not complain everything was great. The host even had a volleyball game going one night and invited my girls to play. Great people!

We had an amazing time at Larry’s place while in NOLA. Very spacious, perfect for our group. It can use a few upgrades (water pressure isn't great, furniture could use some TLC) but overall it was just what we needed for our trip. Distance from Bourbon Street and the French Quarters was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect. We didn’t need for anything and the neighborhood was very family friendly. Someone else was in the other half of the home and we never even heard them. Larry was quick to assist when I messed up the dates and everything else was so clear I never had to reach back out to him.

Great stay! We had 3 couples staying a couple of days just before taking a cruise. Quick uber to French quarter (about 25 for an Uber XL each way). Lots of room, nice outside space, nice neighborhood, big dining room table, plenty of bathrooms! Couple things needing attention: Beds and pillows could be updated for sure and kitchen stocked a little better (for example, there was only one coffee cup). Also, you should probably fix the back door lock.

Swifties Take Over

My daughter, friends and I were in town for Taylor Swift and stayed in Larry’s property over the weekend. It was amazing stay! Plenty of room, clean and in a great neighborhood. Larry is very responsive. Definitely would stay here again on future trips!

Loved it!

Absolutely loved the house! We had no issues at all. In a great neighborhood, but still close enough to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful property

The house was bigger than it looked in the pictures. Super pretty. Owner was awesome. Owner’s son was awesome. Great property in a great neighborhood. Love that the river is right down the street.

We love this property

Spent four days at this property and we loved it. The pictures don't tell the true story of nice it really is. I loved the feel of it. It was clean and roomy. The neighborhood was so quiet. We really enjoyed our stay. The owner responded quickly when we had a problem with the door. Check in and check out was easy. It's about 20 minutes away from FQ. I will definitely book again when in NOLA.

Arabi House

We all really enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion would be to have a list of instructions such as any helpful instructions like garbage collection, how dirty bedding should be handled and any suggestions on where to eat in the neighborhood. All the VRBO's that we have stayed at previously have some sort of guidance on what condition we should leave the property in.

Great Time In NOLA

My family and friends had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home. Not far from the French Quarter. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint. The home had PLENTY of space for all of us. There were a couple of hiccups during our stay, but Mr. Landry was quick to resolve any issues. He even stopped by to check on us and made sure that everything was good. Well, Mr. Landry, we are still talking about our stay there. So much so that we plan on coming back to NOLA next year for the food, fun and southern hospitality!!!

Wedding getaway

The house itself is nice but it does need some upgrades the bed pillows,sheets, comforters and mattress needs updating the pillows have no stuffing they are very flat. The shower curtains and rugs needs to be replaced they are worn and washed out. The chair in the living room needs to be replaced when you sit it goes almoyto the floor. The kitchen door needs to be sealed you can see outside. Very nice home but really needs updating

This is a beautiful authentic piece of New Orleans architecture in a safe neighborhood, and it's super easy to reach the main downtown tourist destinations (French Quarter) by car or taxi/ ride-sharing service. We were a large group (14 aduluts, 3 children under 2 years old: grandparents, parents and kids), and everyone was comfortable and had enough space in the house to socialize or withdraw for some privacy. (We rented the other half of the house as well- a separate listing). This half of the house had its main entrance in the back of the house. There was also an entrance in the side porch which made it easy to access the side door to the front of the house: The two were connected by a side porch just a few paces away from each other. It has one bedroom on the ground floor and three bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen was well stockef. The beds were super comfortable. I grew up in New Orleans and know the city well. This is a great location if you want to park your car on the street without fear of it being broken into. (which is not the case in the Treme or Bywater neighborhoods just down the road). It's also a good choice if you need a little peace and quiet after all the action at the major tourist attractions. The host was helpful and responsive to our needs.Thrre were also some good, down-home authentic New Orleans restaurants nearby- some even walking distance, and grocery stores were close by as well.This place is a gem!

Daughter's bachelorette trip

He was hesitant to book us due to it being a bachelorette trip but after assuring him that these girls were in their late 20's and 30's, he agreed to. He even complimented on how well it was taken care of after the fact. They got there during the snow which I understand was uncharacteristic. But one of the doors didn't lock at all. The water downstairs was cold the whole time like the hot water heater was out. I don't think that was because of the weather because all of the snow had melted before they left. My son had to keep going to the breaker because the electricity kept going off. Thankfully, him and a friend went as security to watch out for the girls. I find it hard to believe that he didn't know about those issues before they got there. I'm sure the lady that cleans the house had alerted him to some of these. There were other little issues that we would have overlooked, but these were some main ones that I felt should have been disclosed. When I called him he was very nice and said he would look into it but that was it.
