“This place goes downhill every single year. We stay with a group for Christmas for the last 15 years. Wallpaper is peeling, you are charged for a “resort fee” but the pools aren’t even always working. Dining is subpar. Rooms are very dated and getting worse every year. I think it’s time for our family to move on from thumper pond. ”

“I love being here. I wish the weather had cooperated more. I take my grandchildren with me so they can see where I spent the summers growing up. I wish the place was more age friendly. The steps on the porch and hill are great, but getting into the lake is difficult for the really young or old. The beach steps could use a handrail. Inside the upstairs toilets should be replaced.
