Great location. Short walk to beach and deli. Well equipped kitchen. A little short on spoons. Water pressure good. The two bathrooms that appear to have windows with view for neighbors was disturbing. Very nice house with 4 bathrooms. Excellent roof deck. Main bedroom and bathroom is very nice with private toilet but no door. Main bedroom bed was just okay and pillows not to our liking. Recommend two should be firm. We only had six on busiest night so plenty of towels. Didn’t need washing machine but nice to know it is available. Extra beach towels was nice touch. Parking very tight but nice to have two spaces. Furniture on main floor well wore and but ok for awhile. Overall great place and we may return.

Location was solid and the amenities were good as well. Would have appreciated an upgrade on the beds overall comfort. The house was clean and well prepped for our stay. Cannot say enough good things about how the Beachview went out of their way to accommodate us. Their efforts alone are worth 5 stars.

The house is a great space for 11 people! The location is also great. We easily found parking. The beds are on the hard side. It would be nice to have labels on what is in cabinets. The downstairs shower is difficult to operate. Overall a great place to stay for a large group!

a once lovely home in need of some TLC. No hot water at kitchen sink. Floors are very dirty. porous stone is a terrible idea for a rental.The layout worked well for us. especially loved the roof decks. Great location.

House was fantastic. Close to so many activities. Walk to fun zone. Walk and ferry to Balboa island. Walked to the pavilion to take the whale/dolphin boat. Saw hundreds of dolphins. Had a great adventure with our kids and grandkids. Highly recommend.

Meh

Great location, but there were enough small issues that add up to me saying that I would not do a return stay. The quality of the cookware is very poor. Some of the pans have 50% of the non-stick coating missing. The oven is an adventure because the knob has missing numbers, you have to guess at the temperature. Not enough glassware for the number of occupants. It was very annoying to have to stay and wait for the dishwasher to finish to put the dishes away before leaving. The chairs at the dining room table make a lot of noise when moved; felt pads on the bottom of the legs would go a lonnnnng way (not to mention the obvious damage being done to the flooring). Toss out some of the fake plants; they are on every flat surface in the living area.

My family stayed in the house during my daughter's college graduation. We had a great stay. The house is very spacious. We had one issue with one of the heat lamps making a loud noise due to wind and the property manager responded right away on a Sunday.

Great house for a family to enjoy.

Great house and awesome location. 1 house away from the beach, walking distance to food. Great little bar 2 blocks away. We stayed with family, a total of 9 people and we had plenty of room. Wish we could have stayed a few more days!!

Great property and location but not great with supplies

The house was a wonderful size and fit 12 people very comfortably. It was just about a block from the beach making it a fantastic location. The kitchen was well stocked in terms of dishes glasses and utensils. Be aware that you will only receive a few rolls of toilet paper. We ran out within 24 hours as there were 12 of us and had to run to the store to get more. This was very disappointing as we were unaware that this would be the case. In addition we only received one roll of paper towels- which also disappeared within a day. Make sure you purchase what you need before hand so you’re not caught in the same situation.

Big property

For the price, the property could use some updating. There is a lot of room though. It is steps to the beach too. The bedding furniture is cheap, and the Internet is spotty, but at least management is very responsive. The checkout checklist is a bit extensive, but overall it was a great stay.

Great location and great space. Needs some updates

This place was in an awesome location and the bed/sleeping arrangements and layout were perfect for our party of 12. My biggest complaints are the floors on the main level were absolutely disgusting. If we walked around barefoot our feet were black. The pans are old and worn and need to be replaced and the patio sectional needs to be replaced.

Larger than needed house with comfy accommodations. Wonderfully close to the beach and close to great restaurants and sites. Great place for a large family. Loved the long dining room table that could accommodate a large group.

It was a great trip.

We all had a great trip to Newport. The property was what we were looking for. There were only a couple of things that could have made it a little better. First, since everyone in our group is use to hotel beds, a couple of the beds including the Master Bed had super firm beds. Every morning we had to hear complaining of how hard the beds were. Not a big deal to me, but I am speaking for the group. The other small complaint the group had was that only one of the burners outside on the top balcony was not working. There was one that was working so we made due. We all had a great time and I feel we would choose the same house since it was a good location and was really close to the beach. :) Cheers and thanks!

Great family friendly home close to the beach

The location of this house can't be beat! Beautiful large home just one block from the beach. Comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms. We had enough room to spread out with 7 adults and 3 children. Was a bit worried with the number of breakable and fragile items that the kids had to avoid. Check in/check out was a little annoying as we had to drive to the realty office to pick up/drop off the keys. Would definitely love to stay again!

We were disappointed with the cleanliness of floors…we were there for a very short time and all our feet were black from dirt. The oven and refrigerator did not have adequate temperature control. The washing machine leaked and did not function properly. The towels were paper thin as were the washcloths.These were all below expectations for this price point. Future renters should know it is on a busy road with no black out shades in the bedrooms.

Perfect place for family wedding, reunions
