Amazing location, just two blocks from the beach. Love that it was dog-friendly. We could open the french doors and let the dog roam the yard. Communication was great and check in was easy. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. We didn't realize there wasn't a master bath - all three bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom - but that was on us for not reading thoroughly. Garage is short - the length of our SUV was too long to fit in the garage, but there is plenty of street parking. The beach gear was not great - upgrades are needed. Beach chairs are old and missing pieces. Wagon doesn't work well. Umbrella didn't work. If the owners bought some new beach equipment, it would have made our beach days a bit better.

My family really enjoyed our stay at your beautiful beach house. The short walk to the bay and ocean was wonderful. Having the use of the beach wagon, toys, chairs and towels was really nice. The house has a small garage that we used to keep all of the bicycles we brought. Street parking in front of the house for our second vehicle was never a problem. Scott was very quick to help when we had a minor issue with needing propane for the bbq. The house was a great fit for our multi generational family beach vacation

Love this place. This was the second year we stayed here with our 2 kids and grandbabies. Already booked again for next year. Peaceful neighborhood. Short walk to beach. Rare nice front lawn. No problem with parking.

Wonderful home! Worked perfectly for our family and dog. The garage is a bit small because of the washer and dryer but the space behind the garage is plenty big for parking. The home has everything you need to relax in beautiful Newport Beach. Communication with host was quick and responsive. The friendly text reminder about the garbage was very helpful. I’ve been visiting Newport Beach for 25 years and this home ranks high on our list.

The place is just as described. Location was so perfect for us. We had our three year-old grandson and he really enjoyed walking just a half a block and enjoying the sandy beach. We were in walking distance to the fun zone and it was very quiet. Great place for our pups as it had a little grass area that was fenced in so we could let them out without worrying the upstairs bonus room area was very comfy for hanging out Overall, we had a great experience

We really enjoyed our stay with our family at this nicely located home. It had all the things we needed for a great time. Kitchen had everything to make meals, beach toys for the kids, and a nice little yard for them to play. We would enjoy staying here again. Thanks to Scott the host for his help. We appreciate it.

Perfect location!

My partner and I came with our kids for the week and this was the perfect location to easily get to the Balboa and Newport Piers. It's the perfect little quiet street. The front lawn was a great little spot for the kids to play. Having the whole house was perfect for all 6 of us. Great couches to lounge on and good beds and showers. The kitchen had plenty of space and was well stocked with what we needed to cook. Easy to check in and park in the back. The master was huge and the deck was relaxing. We are already thinking of booking this house again next year.

Access to beach and ferry was great. The fenced in yard was a plus for the grandchildren. The only negative is the size of the bathrooms but not a deal breaker at all I would stay here again.

Location, location, location

Nestled between the Newport and Balboa piers, the bay and the ocean, you can’t beat the location. Dog friendly front yard and well stocked kitchen. Scott was quickly responsive to some small issues. I look forward to coming back!

Wonderful home

Well appointed home, conveniently located less than two blocks to the beach. Had a nice grass front lawn, which is rare in the area. We were there with our kids and grandbaby. Had a wonderful time. We will rent here again.

Family Vacation

My husband and I stayed with our 2 daughters and their husbands over the holiday. We also had one 16 month granddaughter with us. The extra room for her to sleep was great. A relative got us a pack n play, high chair, and toys from a rental company which worked out perfectly. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The negatives were the cleanliness of the kitchen. Also when we arrived the floors had just been mopped yet our socks turned grey from the floor the 1st day. There was only 1 towel per person for showering and only a few kitchen towels. I ended up buying some. We cooked and grilled often so the kitchen was used a lot. The weather was definitely cool so beach time was limited but we did walk quite a bit to a variety of places. Having a washer and dryer was great too. Parking was not an issue.

4day beach get away

We booked this listing based on the proximity to the beach and for a relaxing getaway, but were very uncomfortable during our stay. Unfortunately, there is a home under major construction one house away that starts promptly at 7am. Without air conditioning, the windows have to remain open (even in April/May), which left us listening to nail guns, hammering, and lumber dropping all day. The home is darling, but fairly dirty. Floors needed a deep cleaning and the area rugs felt gross underfoot. The glassware appeared dirty, so we washed everything we intended to use, but it remained (possibly being permanent hard water crust?). The upstairs bath jets had chunks of black moldy material that floated out when the tub filled. And most of the outdoor items for guest usage have been left to essentially rot (bike, kayaks). We REALLY appreciated having the outdoor heat lamp and tv replaced during our stay since they were non-functional on arrival. The master bedroom mattress definitely needs to be replaced! Sleeping in human-sized holes left us sore and cranky…followed up with early morning/all day construction noise was absolutely uncomfortable. It really is a darling house, though, with great potential for family fun and beach memories to be made once nearby construction ends and management gives the home a thorough once-over.
