The gardens surrounding the cottage are very nice and well maintained and at the rear of the property blend into some dense and very steep woodland facilitating the sighting of various forms Devonian wildlife from time to time including a lost army patrol who had got lost in the woods on night-time manoeuvres...

Met the hosts shortly after our arrival and they are both welcoming, friendly and helpful. The local farm shop down the road was frequented quite a lot for goodies too. ”
