As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. “The property was nice, staff were very friendly and helpful! Only critique was the AC unit in the room was EXTREMELY loud and kicked on every 3-4minutes and woke us up several times through the night. Was 100 degrees so we couldn’t sleep with it off or turned up. Otherwise our stay was good, great morning breakfast and we didn’t use the pool, but nice option to have. Lively bar in the evening with live music on site the nights we were there.”
