Clean but cute, small home. It does sit right beside a main road and parking was really difficult. The spots are tiny and the car beside our spot was parked halfway in our spot where we couldnt fit. Thankfully the team got back with me and let us park in a different spot that thankfully wasnt being used. The beach access was simple and the beach was clean.

The suite was simple and had everything we needed. Our only issue was that we started to have allergy symptoms during our second and third day staying there and noticed that there was mold on the AC/heating units.

This rental unit was very small and located directly on a busy road. My vehicle sustained significant damage due to the extremely tight parking spaces, which many previous reviews have also noted. The assigned space for this unit is parallel to the building, pressed against a brick wall, with another brick wall directly across and fixed bollards that severely limit maneuverability. During our stay, all parking spaces were occupied, and combined with these constraints, it was physically impossible to exit without scraping my truck—causing thousands of dollars in damage. This rental does not offer safe or adequate parking for standard vehicles. Guests with anything larger than a compact car should be warned that damage is a serious risk, and the owners take no responsibility for it.

The property was perfect for my solo (plus dog!) beach getaway. As described, the property is steps away from the beach, which was beautiful and mercifully uncrowded this time of year! The property was comfortable and clean and a great space to relax after a day at the beach. I would suggest adding curtains in the bedroom as the property is close to a main street with street lights and headlights easily visible through the bedroom windows. One thing to note- while the listing does acknowledge there are no beach views from this property, it should be noted that this suite specifically is in a detached building on the other side of the parking lot; it’s not physically in the building shown in the listing (that’s where the other suites at this address are located). Parking is a bit tight as well but very convenient! Overall I’d definitely recommend the room and hosts, especially for a beach convenient and pet friendly property!

The property was perfect for what my husband and I needed for our week away with our 1-year-old. The check-in was easy, the location was perfect, and the private beach access was top-tier ideal. No large crowds of people for a mile. Our only two complaints were that there was no washer/dryer and for a beach house, you kind of need your clothes to dry and the bathroom did not have a vent or fan in it and so the whole place felt damp after a day or two of our swimsuits and towels trying to air dry. Even just a dryer or a place outside for things to hang would be nice, since we had to use our car or travel to a laundromat. Our apartment was not connected to the main building but they used photos of the main building which was a little deceiving in that our apartment did not have a balcony or windows looking out to the beach like the photos showed. We enjoyed our stay and the space, we just wished they used the proper photos for the suite that was listed.

Very clean and very nice, really nice kitchen and bath. Smallish bedroom but clean and comfortable, parking was tight. A few minutes walk to a beautiful beach. We would definitely come back!

Apartments was rather small but clean. Photos and desriprion didnt describe the unit as being beside the main street instead of close to the beach, this caused a lot of traffic being heard. The grill and such are at the main building not suite 7. Host was very attentive when i sent messages. Would suggest some throw rugs on the floor to prevent the spread of sand throughout the unit. Extra towels would be a plus.

Property is very small, not good for a long stay. Couch is too small for 2 adults to sit, shower is too small, no space in the bedroom, and no curtains on the windows. Great for a day or 2, but not for long trips. Only given 2 towels for 2 adults staying 6 days, no extra washcloths available. Unit is also in the parking lot, not in the actual home thats advertised.

Private Suite with beach access

We had an enjoyable stay for a few days in the east beach section of Norfolk. The unit is modern and has new amenities. There are a few minor issues - the parking is tight especially if you have a larger car. We also would have liked more bath towels and a broom to sweep up any sand. We didn’t cook but would have needed more supplies if we wanted to make a meal.

We were disappointed that this unit did not have the outdoor space that was in the photos and on the list of amenities. Antoine was so helpful in trying to find an alternative but there unfortunately wasn’t anywhere for us to move to.

Nice & Clean Property

Very cute and clean property. We really enjoyed that it was a standalone building. I brought my two giant breed dogs and being in a more secluded rental went really well with them. Inside was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had the basic items you’d need (plates, bowls, mugs, cups, cutlery, some cooking utensils, a coffee pot, some pots and pans). The bathroom had towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The rental also included 2 beach chairs for guest use, which was great. Our one “complaint” would be that there aren’t any hooks in the bathroom to hang towels on after use. This specific unit does not have an ocean view, but still a very short walk to the beach itself. The parking lot is rather small, we had a full size truck and it took some maneuvering to get in and out of our assigned spot. Nothing major, just something to think about if you have a larger vehicle. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book here again.

Short but Suite

The property was cute, contemporary and clean. The kitchen lacked anything aside from absolute basics. We usually bake off a simple dessert and have come to appreciate a little more in the way of some of those items when we travel. Had we known in advance we would have brought a brownie pan. We also appreciate if there are some ways to set left overs aside (baggies, foil, plastic wrap). There were none of these items. This unit sat furthest from the beachfront on the property and was very close to a busy road. For our short stay we were not offended by road noise, but if you're a light sleeper...The walk to the beach at the back of the property took all of 30 seconds and offered what felt like a nice private section of the beach to sit and read. If we head back to the area again, we'd gladly stay at this property, but we might look to the units that face the ocean and are further from the road. Bring your own baking pan!

Super clean

Great little place for one or two people. It does set right on the road with lots of traffic but clean, well decorated with all that you need. Close to the beach. Loved that it had beach chairs & beach towels.
