“We loved the decorations, home, and location! The host was interacting with us at the beginning to ensure we had what we needed and everything was great!This was our anniversary, so we wanted something completely secluded and private, and this was exactly what we were looking for. It is 15 minutes away from the historic blue ridge mountain town, which we found convenient. All in all I'd stay here again with just my wife or with friends and family.”

“The cabin was beautiful and the views were, too. The owners/managers responded in a timely manner to every question i had. The only negatives were the driveway (stay to the left coming in no matter what you drive) and some things needed maintenance and repair. Overall, the property was beautiful and the sound of the river was very relaxing. ”

“Our family of 18 had a wonderful long-weekend at Lake Buckhorn Lodge. Ranging in age from 9 months to mid-60s, everyone had a great time. The living spaces provided plenty of room for us to gather, and the kitchen was well-equipped for a large group. The incredible sports bar/game room kept us all entertained. We especially enjoyed having use of the kayaks and canoes for the lake. We plan to return for our next family reunion.”
