“Nice view of Lake Superior from my 5th (top) floor, even though I asked for a ground floor room (since I’m traveling with my puppy dog!). The outside noise (3 train tracks & a major road) was a bit much too. But, since I will probably never be back in Thunder Bay I did enjoy the walk down by the dock and the people were nice and friendly. ”

“Hotel was closed down. Was being actually shut down by health and safety department as we were checking in. Waiting for our money back from Expedia they were going to contact us but are still awaiting their call.”

“It was fine. Funny how hotels in this price range always have a fan that goes 'click click click' through the night...”

“I have stayed at this motel before and it was an acceptable place to sleep but this time I was in a smoking room that was next to the room I had stayed in before but it could have been a different building altogether. The carpet was badly stained, the comforter had burn marks on it, and the shower looked like it needed a serious power washing. I don't know if it the last room to be fixed up but I think that I would rather sleep in my car than sleep in this motel again.”

“Free breakfast was good and had great selection. Front desk staff was friendly. Our breakfast however did take a while to come out on the second morning and was cold by the time we got it. There was a dog howling on the second morning (possibly thin walls).”
