“This place was disgusting. There were ants in the kitchen and the bathroom. Looked like it had not been deep cleaned in years. I went to use a washcloth and when I squeezed the water out of it the water I squeezed out was brown . The bed pillows were dirty and disgusting I could not use them. There was was no A/C in the bedroom.The lighting was awful. Spiders in multiple places.Broken tile soap/shampoo shelf broken and jagged, someone could cut themselves on it. Shower floor is slippery. “Cottage with character. Beds were comfortable & great location for an overnight before our whitewater rafting. AC in the living room was nice and strong. When we turned on the bedroom AC, bugs flew out all over the bed. Unable to open the window due to the lack of screens. Needs power washing to clean the bugs and spiderwebs. Communication was very fast with the Host.”

“Bring earplugs &/or white noise. You’re sharing a home with the hosts, so sounds from their living area leak past interior doors. Kudos to them for being willing to share an attached dwelling with strangers — I don’t think I could! Other things to be aware of: You may be charged $25 extra if unable to check in at the appointed time. The short access road is bumpy, dusty gravel. Otherwise, all routes are paved. Room was very clean and nicely appointed. It was nice to meet their dogs and cats...
