“It was horrendous. I paid for a room with a window. The window was in a basement room looking into a wall. That wasn’t the worst part. It smelled so bad, I had to use my perfume to try and disguise the smell which it didn’t. Then I realised I had a manhole in my shower which is probably where the smell came from.
