Mom and daughter girls trip

My adult daughter and I enjoyed our stay at this 4th floor ocean view condo very much . It was clean and had everything we needed . Beach access was great . The resort had indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs that were open nightly until 11 which was a plus . We didn't need to drive far to find things to do or places to eat so the location was good too . Check in and check out was easy . Overall it was a great experience .

Very nice condo.

Ocean front. Private. Clean. Comfortable, everything we needed for our stay + so many extra’s. Kitchen nicely equipped, coffee pots, toaster, toaster oven, microwave, cooktop. Easy, Access to amenities.

We didnt get early ck_in we pd for.many items were out of repair like a hairdryer that caught on fire,lights that didnt work, coffee maker broken as well as toaster oven.cookware was greasy and incorrect for stove. The most aggravating thing was the indian man who kept reading his script and not helping to rectify problems

Great Location, Fun Resort

Great location, loved being able to walk to Barefoot Landing. The resort is awesome and would love staying here again. I’ll agree with the previous reviews that it could use a good deep clean. Would stay here again, it was perfect for what we were looking for.

Mothers Day Stay

The condo had everything we needed. Lots of room and The A/C worked great. Not the most modern but everything was clean. Beds were great! Wonderful view! I would stay there again.

Spring Break

The property is as listed. Check in/out was easy. The main issue was the resort is under construction with only one elevator, during spring break that made wait times a lot longer than expected. Also, the indoor pool as well as one outdoor pool are closed and under construction, but these are of no fault of Big Fish Rentals. Other than that the stay was enjoyable with perfect beach views and many nearby things to do!

Review for the Cleanliness

The floors need to be deep cleaned. The frangrace and smell was horrible. The mop was broken and I had to clean up during vacation for the wellness of my family and I. I was told that I should have contacted the host immediately and that felt like more work to me. The communication to the host was online by typing only and couldn't even call to talk to someone. After I semi-cleaned the place we went to the beach to enjoy our vacation. After, I typed a message to the host about the floors and the response was I should have told them immediately (we arrived at 2:30am) and would only inform their team.

Awful experience!!

Where do I start? This is not as advertised!! This condo was dirty - and not dirty as in the cleaners didn't come that morning, but dirt and grime that has been there for some time. The floors (carpet and rug in LR) were disgusting; we left our shoes on the entire time. Part of the carpet was coming up and the subfloor and nails were exposed. The couch was so gross we put a sheet down to sit on it. Don't look behind the bedside table to plug your phone in. Overall disrepair with damage to some walls/doors in bathroom. The tub stopper was loose so you couldn't stop up water and the metal edges were exposed on the drain. It states UDPATED kitchen with granite countertops which are not granite but instead laminated wood. The "full size fridge" is maybe apartment size. The resort itself is very run down. Dirty pools, cigarette butts floating in the ocean, super slow elevators. I reached out immediately to Big Fish and my concerns about the condo itself were completely dismissed and they stated they had no control over the resort. We checked out the next morning and had to find somewhere else to stay, which due to the holiday weekend was over an hour away. We are waiting on a response regarding a refund for the nights we didn't stay due to the condition and the extremely misleading description of "New" and "Updated." The one positive - the check in process was very easy and the communication up front was very informative. OVERALL - ZERO STARS.

Great stay

This resort is great. The check-in progress was simple, as there was not much to do as I already had everything checked out online and the code to my room was sent to me. The room was extremely clean, with no stains or messes anywhere. The room came with shampoo, towels, blankets, and pillows if you forget to bring them. Everything is close to the resort, such as the Alabama Theathre, McDonalds, and more. Walmart and the outlets were really close to the resort, just a few minutes away. Although other places in the beach are extremely full and occupied throughout the day, the little piece of beach that is in front of the resort always has a bunch of space. My toddler accidentally clicked the emergency call button on the elevator, but the worker who answered was very understanding and nice. There is much to do at this resort, and the lazy river is always a fun surprise as it has buckets of water that can fall on you at any time. The only bad thing was that the indoor pool was getting repaired when we went, but that was not a big problem as the outdoor pools were great. It was easy to find parking everyday, and there's even little flyers or ads you can look at to find places to eat or visit near the resort. The elevator was always clean and it wasn't ever overfilled. Although the different towers(A,B, and C) may sound confusing, it was fairly easy to find our tower. This was a great place to stay at, and me and my family definitely recommend it.

Not as expected/ Dated and dirty.

From the pics on line it looks lovely....however the entire place needs a deep cleaning. Every surface felt dirty. The refrigerator did not get cold.. they did offer to bring another one but we had already bought ice for our cooler and were not planning on buying groceries so we opted not to go through the hassle of them coming in either with or without us being there...the response time from the customer service team is OUTSTANDING! That was the only good part of the trip. The carpet was filthy...sofa so stained that i had to put a mattress cover over it just to feel comfortable sitting on it!!!! It was just disappointing and if you cant feel Comfortable or Clean it just ruins the whole experience! No hot water in sink in kitchen...shower only had luke warm water until the last day...really no need to go on...just wouldn't do it again!!! I would not rent from the company because that also shows their standards.

Nice stay with a great view

We (four of us) enjoyed our stay at Beach Cove in North Myrtle. The condo was clean and the view from the balcony was amazing. We enjoyed all our breakfasts and many meals on it. Would have been great for a beautiful sunrise had the morning clouds cooperated.

All around a great experience!

Everything with this property was perfectly described! It was clean, great amenities, and close to all the attractions. We absolutely would recommend this property and will look into it again for vacation next year. When first booking the large list of rules threw us off a little, but once we read through them, they are just basic rules and respect for any place you would stay at. All around a great experience!

Resort is old, room had a mildew smell. Big Restaurant is closed, breakfast in smaller room was about the same as a hotel free hot breakfast but charged 14.95. Never had so many emails reminding me of the rules and fees , won’t go back. However, Location was quiet and beach was nice.
