“Way beyond expectations. We booked with the expectation of a room with a view. We were delighted with the private penthouse suite. Better and bigger than our apartment. It had not one but two rooms with a magnificent view of Devonport wharf and Waitemata harbour.”

“We chose Carnmore as we needed to be near the hospital, but the location offered much more than that with the beach a 2-minute walk away in a pleasant neighbourhood, and cafés not too much further. Easy and secure parking, clean modern rooms and a quick check-in made it a great stay. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked great. ”

“We’ve stayed here regularly and it’s been ok. Unfortunately this time it was too disgusting to stay. Cockroaches, used toothpick next to the bed, dirty socks left behind. A musky smell in the room. We didn’t even stay one night. When we tried to communicate this at check out on Friday night, where we handed in the key, we unfortunately had a very disinterested person on the desk who told us to have a good day 🙄 we’re not after a refund, just letting the motel know. “The room was ready when we arrived. Well stocked with tea, milk waiting us in yhe fridge. View of the water as promised. We were asked if we had a small car, just as well. Tight getting it into the space we were allocated due to the angles of that particular parking space. Staff were pleasant and great cafes nearby. Pool not open.”

“The accommodation is great, really spacious and modern. WIFI is a bit sketchy, and seems to be shared with owners upstairs, along with the hot water, which honestly can take ages to come through and can take time to re heat itself. Duvet in main bedroom leaves a bit to desire with stains all over it, was just thrown on the floor as luckily was hot enough not to need it. But a really nice spacious apartment.”
