Perfecto para un descanso relajante, esta casa de vacaciones cómoda, espaciosa y encantadora disfruta de vistas espectaculares a través de un hermoso parque de ciervos rozado por ciervos rojos y gamos, un refugio de vida silvestre a solo 6 millas de la hermosa costa del norte de Norfolk. El parque cuenta con un lago de pesca y observación de aves de 14 acres y una red de senderos para explorar, incluso hay un excelente restaurante a poca distancia. Deer Park Cottage está junto a la casa de campo de los propietarios del siglo XVIII y está a solo 2 millas de la tienda de la aldea Roughton y la estación de tren de Gunton, y 6 millas de las atracciones costeras de Cromer. A very well equipped cottage in the middle of a large deer park.

A very well equipped cottage in the middle of a large deer park.Walking in the park available from your door, also a large fishing lake for use of residents.Short drive to Sheringham and Cromer etc. Very popular pub within a short drive or 15min walk from cottage.Very friendly owners and management staff on hand for any problems that arise. It’s unfair to write a real review as we booked a 3 night stay but only stayed one night due to the extreme weather and power outage. However it’s a great location, very nice a clean cottage, we just wished we could have used it for the 3 nights. The owner did make us aware of the weather and power outage before we arrived but was hoping it would be on by 9pm. It’s wasn't back at 9:30 am when left. That was down to the store no fault of the cottage. The whole area had no power after one of the worst storms seen in the area for many years. We will rebook next year as it’s lovely and the area looks beautiful. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

What a fantastic location! Set in the beautiful surroundings of the park, it's easy to shut yourself away from the world for a few days. We had a warm welcome our first day, but were then left to our own devices. The cottage was cosy and well equipped, clean and tidy, and it was wonderful being able to curl up in front of the open fire. If you want to escape the world for a few days, this is the perfect place.

Where else can you watch deer inches from the windows, then see a fox stroll by....and minutes latera tiny monoplane take off some hundred metres from the cottage! Marvellous!

the deer park is an interesting, peaceful and relaxing place to stay, we would consider returning next summer. However there are some negative aspects which must be considered by those who do not live in a country setting : the kitchen area is old and worn with cobwebs around glasses and crockery on shelves, there is a good number of the larger type of garden spider inhabiting the cottage. The cattle grids would deter anyone driving a small car. the "fishing lake" is so shallow that it cannot possibly contain a good head of fish making the cost of preparation, licence, materials etc a complete waste of time.
