“The cottage was very nice and the view is amazing! The driveway could be better marked, as it is quite steep and hard to see - especially at night. Zero cell service, which is understandable, but there is no wifi. The lack of wifi should be clearly stated on the listing. We had to leave early because we had no communication with family/work. Bring toilet paper and paper towels if you’re staying longer than a couple days. ”

“The home has a great setup, worked perfectly for our group, and William was extremely accommodating. We spent Thanksgiving here and would highly recommend a family gathering here. We went hiking one day, drove to Boone also. So many things to do and all so close. ”

“We’ve been coming to Alpine Village for 40 years,probably our 12th stay. Cherokee 2 was as nice as any of the units we’ve stayed in before. Very clean and everything we needed to enjoy our mountain vacation. Chris was very communicative and answered any questions we had promptly. Can’t wait to come back.”

“This cabin is absolutely beautiful. Great layout and plenty of space to spread out so that everyone is comfortable. We loved the hot tub, eating in the beautiful dining room, coffee by the fire table and our deer visitors. I will say that if you have older guests, there are some steep steps to get down in order to access the front door, which made unloading the car a little tricky in the rain.
