  • This beautiful Amish built log cabin sits on a rolling 80 acres just outside of beautiful Onaway, The sturgeon capital of Michigan. Five miles from the UAW Black lake golf club, 10,000 acre black lake, feet away from the trails and lasting memories. Perfect for hunters as this property is very close to surrounding state land. Centrally located from Rogers city, Mackinac, Petoskey and Gaylord. Bring your boats, quads, side by sides, snowmobiles and explore beautiful Northern Michigan. Free Wifi with strong connection. This property is also handicapped accessible/barrier free. Outdoor patio and fire pit. Plenty of room for your trailers and off road vehicles! Only 1/4 mile to the MI trail ride so no need to tow your trailer once you arrive. Perfect 4 season getaway.

The cottage is great for a couple or small family with a large front and rear deck. Beautiful surrounding fields and wooded lots for walks around the property. The cottage sits about a 150 yards off of a relatively busy road with vehicle noise that can be heard from the house. There is another home on the property that is occupied by a permanent resident however they were not seen or heard. The property is very close to many outdoor activities. We enjoyed skiing at the Black Mountain Cross Country Trail system about 20 minutes north. Communication with the host was perfect and check in/out was without difficulty. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

The Onaway on your way to Onaway

The cozy cabin was perfect for a nice get away. Beautiful front and back porch to view the sunrise or the snow fall in in winter. The natural light for the variety of windows was refreshing. Its a must see to appreciate kind of Cabin.
