“We all loved staying at the hotel, it was clean and great relaxed atmosphere. We stayed in a suite and whilst it was lovely and big and clean a few things needed attention! Door handle on toilet door was half hanging off, toilet flush was loose and the jacuzzi bath plug never worked, so therefore the water kept emptying away. Balcony could have done with a clean too. “This is the first negative review I've ever had to give. We stayed at The Golden Lion Hotel St. Ives. (13-14 Feb) We stayed in Room 20 which was very small and had the constant, very loud noise of the kitchen extractor humming. On the first night it was still on at 10.45pm and we had to ask Reception to deal with it and then it was back on, waking us up at 7pm. “Excellent stay at the Prince of Wales. The owner was fantastic and very friendly. I had to leave early for work so could not make the breakfast time, however the owner offered me a goody bag to take away with me. Would stay again when in the area. ”
