“Roads fun , 4 wheel drive not required to get there, but to go most places of adventure would want high clearance or 4 WD , though locals don't. Mountain views stunning weather most days beautiful til 4 or 5 then rain. Pool great , common area phenomenal. All necessary things supplied , very safe , saw parrots and Capuchin monkeys big troupe, iguanas. And you will see lots of types of insects. Mostly outdoors, mosquitoes no issue but we kept spray handy and on. The pictures are real, the town...

“Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. ”

A beautiful tropical garden surrounds the tidy tiled pool and spacious deck with a grill, hammock, etc. Three bedrooms and a spacious living room and well-equipped kitchen. We loved it. Randal the owner is very responsive via What'sApp and the grounds keeper does his job without interfering with the guests enjoyment of the property. The pool man Alexander was beyond helpful even changing a tire for us when we discovered a flat.
