A warm welcome given from the hosts who very kindly gave us an upgrade. The room was a great size, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay again.

It was a pleasant surprise that our room was situated within a courtyard setting. Loved that quirky aspect. Ample and very comfortable king size bed, plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate sachets and the offer of fresh milk each day of our short stay. Really warm, friendly welcome and just the right amount of attentiveness. Would definitely book again.

Service above and beyond
Incredibly friendly and helpful service going the extra mile to look after our needs. On a walking trip, arrived with sweaty clothes and a broken rucksack, both happily sorted. Very comfortable room and excellent breakfast.

Lovely old building with beams and oak doors. Safe and secure entrance with parking on site. Very nice modern bathroom in contrast to the room. Excellent breakfast menu with everything cooked to order.

Great place to stay
There was a warm welcome when I arrived, and despite the rain was shown where to park and where my room was personally. The room was very comfortable and the attention to detail was excellent. Only negative was that there wasn’t much room for me to do some work on laptop. But managed without to much problems

Great hotel in Oswestry
Lovely hotel. Hosts were really great with nothing being too much trouble. Super convenient location. WiFi was very slow in the room we had though. Very enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay again.

Would have given this full marks but parking is a little restricted. Staff lovely, friendly and helpful. Our room was delightful and characterful. We visited on a day the restaurant was closed but received good advice on where to eat in the town. The breakfast next morning was tasty and clearly comprised of local fare. Certainly on the list if we visit Oswestry again.

Fantastic restaurant with rooms, lovely service
We had a fantastic stay at Sebastians. Lots of little details well thought out which really added positively to the stay. The room was great - looks just like the photo on the website. Large, comfortable bed, plenty of room for bags, good shower, tea & coffee facilities including fresh milk. It has steep stairs to the bathroom so if you have mobility issues book one of their other rooms. Dinner in their restaurant was delicious and well priced. Very friendly and helpful service throughout. Parking onsite and an offer to store our bikes if we needed it. We would definitely stay there again and have recommended it to several people since.

Lovely stopover
Great place to stay, lovely room and very attentive staff. Will want to stay again as we wander up and down the country and hopefully get into their restaurant (our fault we did not book in advance) but Breakfast was superb.

We received a warm and friendly welcome on our arrival. Our rooms were extremely comfortable with some delicious homemade shortbread biscuits included with the teas and coffees. Breakfast was delicious and fantastic value. Our hosts were professional and friendly. We would love to return on another occasion.

Pros: * Very friendly staff * Very clean * Superb breakfast (I would particularly recommend the berry compote and the full English!) Cons: * The monsoon shower seemed to have only two temperatures: blistering hot or cold (eventually managed to get it to a "warm" temperature but this was noticeably more challenging than it should be) * Due to its location on a main road, you could hear the cars driving by (albeit fairly quiet)

Sabastians is fabulous
We have just had a fabulous 2 night stay at Sabastians, so friendly and helpful. Our room 10, was brand new and gorgeous, it had everything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic and really set us up for the day. I have no hesitation in recommending Sebastian's to anyone, you won't be disappointed.
