“Absolutely adorable little cottage in a very convenient area to lots of hiking and other adventures. Highland NC just a short drive away. On site trails and little river. Description of property was spot on. We hiked, enjoyed watching the birds, grilled dinners and most importantly relaxed on porch listening to nature and the river. Quiet and peaceful. Hosts were super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and even had a delicious homemade sweet bread on arrival. Would highly recommend!...

“We had the absolute best time here! The house was cozy, beautiful and just the perfect place for a getaway in the mountains. We came here to stay for a reunion weekend with friends, and were able to bring our dog! A lot of the other places didn’t allow dogs, and this was a major plus, as we wanted to be able to bring our lab for the weekend too. We hiked Tallulah, and had such good food in Clayton. “It is an amazing cabin! The wood work is phenomenal! No curtains but there is no one to see you and it gives great views of the surrounding woods. Had a young bear go by one day. Easy check in and plenty of room! Upstairs A/c struggles to keep up in summer. Otherwise a great stay we would do again! ”
