Creekside en las Montañas Humeantes de Carolina del Norte

Creekside está ubicado en 6 acres ubicados en las Montañas Humeantes del oeste de Carolina del Norte junto a Drymans Creek. Tenemos solo una unidad de alquiler, por lo que al reservar una estadía en Creekside, usted será el único huésped. Son 800 pies cuadrados recientemente remodelados en el nivel inferior de nuestra casa con vista a Drymans Creek. Tiene una cubierta cubierta y entrada privada. Es más privado y tranquilo. Escucha los sonidos serenos de las aguas cristalinas que se precipitan sobre las rocas, contempla la vista de la montaña desde la cubierta con el arroyo abajo. Ver caballos pastar en el campo vecino. Camina por el arroyo admirando el esplendor de la naturaleza. Camina por los muchos senderos cercanos. Especialmente querrá ir de excursión a Pickens Nose, un afloramiento rocoso en la cima de la montaña, pararse a 5200 pies y mirar hacia el valle. El sendero de los Apalaches está cerca y abundan las cascadas. ¡Nuestra área también ha sido escenario de las películas de Hollywood! El original "Fugitivo" fue filmado cerca. ¡El choque de trenes también es visible! "Liberación", "El último de los mohicanos". Más recientemente, "3 Bill Boards Outside Ebbing Missouri", por mencionar algunos. Si eres un entusiasta de las motocicletas antiguas, querrás visitar el museo de motocicletas "Wheels Through Time" que se muestra en la televisión. ¡Hay tanto que ver y no querrás irte!

Beautiful and relaxing
My husband and I absolutely love staying at Creekside! It is always quiet and peaceful. It's far enough from the busyness of town to enjoy the mountain view with the relaxing sound of the creek on the porch, but close enough to get to town with a short ride! We always hate to leave but look forward to our next visit! Thank you Jo and Joss for sharing Creekside with us again!

Relaxing and Invigorating! From porch time to bike trails and waterfalls! Lots to do.
One of the cleanest properties we’ve ever stayed in. The owner was excellent. Very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating! We loved sitting on the porch overlooking and listening to the creek, while watching deer and horses in the fields around the creek

A Deck With A View
What a gorgeous piece of property! The view of the noisy creek, the does and their fawns passing through daily and the groundhog and horses! We were entertained every day. I was reluctant to leave the deck for fear of missing something. Great accommodations and lovely owners! We will return.

Unplug and enjoy this peaceful getaway by a creek
Quiet and peaceful property with a creek and hiking paths. View of a pasture with horses from the front porch. Easy access, not too far from the main road. Interior was nicely decorated with everything you need. The hosts were very accommodating. Surrounded by trees and mountains, you probably won't get cell service, and internet is spotty. Just a short drive to Franklin.

Beautiful Place to Stay
Plenty of room inside and outside. All the amenities you can imagine.The outside areas and creek below are very relaxing as well as an open Mountain View from the porch. Very private and homeowners will answer any questions you have about the area. Would highly recommend a stay here!!!

Ideal Stay for Peace, Beauty, and Rest!
I cannot rave enough! The Volks are gracious and Caring hosts who strike the perfect balance of help when needed and privacy for all. The apartment is well stocked, the view is amazing and the grounds are ideal. We walked the creek, saw lots of deer and wildlife, sat on the porch for hours and listened to the rushing creek waters. It was hard to leave.

40th Anniversary
Over all this was a great experience. Owners of the property were very gracious and helpful. The property its self was scenic and very relaxing. You are stay in the lower half of their residence but we didnt hear them at all. Again we cant say enough good things about this getaway . Thanks

Perfect relaxing spot!
We were visiting to help a friend so we didn't spend much time there, but the time we did was wonderful! Sitting on the porch listening to the creek flow and watching lighning bugs was the best! We haven't had lightning bugs in Florida in forever! Highly recommend, Joceline and Joseph are perfect hosts!!

Creekside serenity
Truly enjoyed our stay at Creekside, the Volks really put effort into a peaceful and tranquil home. Joseph was extremely hospitable from the first glance of us pulling up the driveway. As we made our way around the backside of their home we fell in love with the backdrop. We made it a priority to sit down and unwind watching the horses from the adjacent property graze. The space was just perfect for our party of two with the right necessities needed.The location was just close enough to Franklin yet far enough to relax. Will definitely plan on returning in the future. Thank you Joseph and Joceline for the warm hospitality and housewarming accommodations.

Wonderful Get Away to Relax and Rejuvenate!
Everything about this property was outstanding. Communication from the host during booking, welcome on arrival and making sure we had everything we needed during the stay, but they are also respectful of our privacy. The inside and out side is well groomed and maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed, even coffee for our first morning. I forgot to bring some. The porch is a sanctuary, I could sit there all day taking in the views and listening to the creek so peaceful. We ate breakfast every morning and drinks in the evening. Built a fire in the fire pit on the last night and enjoyed a cold beer watching the flames. Take the mountain trip offered by Joe, he is a great guide and the views and waterfalls are spectacular. There is so much more I could write, but book some time and see for yourself. We only stayed 3 nights and that was way to short.

Beautiful weekend getaway!
We were in for the weekend for a music festival and chose this amazing spot! The hosts Joe and Joceline made everything welcoming, including a luggage cart if we needed it. The property is just kept beautiful and so clean. Every morning we started our day with coffee and hot chocolate sitting on the porch listening to the sounds of nature. We definitely want to book again to stay longer and take Joe up on the tour! Thank you again for your hospitality!

Awesome experience in OTTO. John and Jocelyn are amiable, generous, and respectful. The cabin is immaculate and fully equipped to make you feel like you're at home. The place is spacious and features a spacious bedroom and bathroom, a spacious living room, a modern kitchen, and a laundry area. There is a covered patio and fireplace. There is a sound of water running in the creek, birds, and horses. Awesome Wild Life Experience. John took us for a ride on his four-wheeler at the top of the mountain, we saw the surrounding mountains and Franklin City.... Jocelyn and John, we are grateful for the wonderful hosting experience. We are looking forward to returning soon.

Peaceful and Relaxing.
We truly enjoyed our 2 weeks at Joe and Joceline's. The accommodations were very clean and well maintained. The view from the porch was great and we sent many pictures to friends and relatives of the mountain, creek and horses. Joe was great to talk to and has a wealth of knowledge of the area. If you want to relax and get away but still be at close the food and natural beauty this will be worth your stay.

Amazing place!
It is so difficult to put into words how great our stay was! From the beautiful, comfortable, clean home to the quiet, relaxing porch with the sound of the creek and view of the beautiful horses. Not to mention the wonderful hosts! They were so kind and welcoming and went out of their way to help us when we had am issue arise with our vehicle. We will certainly be back again!

Excellent Corrage with All.of the Amenities
It was a little piece of Heaven. This was the best VRBO that I have stayed at. It was immaculate and had all of the amenities you could ask for and then some. Plus the porch with the stream close by. The hosts also provided fresh farm eggs for your stay. Area is close to Franklin, Syvia, Cherokee, Highlands, and Dillard, GA. The hosts, the Volks, were excellent hosts and made you feel like family. If all VRBOs were liked theirs, then you would akways book and go back. Loved It.

Absolutely charming
The Creekside unit was absolutely charming. It was perfect for a couple's getaway. The kitchen was beautiful and had little "extra" touches like fresh eggs waiting for us. We loved spending time on the porch swing with overlooked a little creek below. There was even a fire pit that maybe we'll get to try on another trip. The host (Joe) was very welcoming and a wealth of knowledge about the area and things to see. We'd definitely like to stay again.
